Arielle's ultrasound to find out the gender of the baby is this morning. We took the tube to the doctor's office and now we sat in the waiting room. It was early, 8 in the morning. I yawned as I rubbed my eyes that I didn't bother to put make up on before I left. I'd begun to grow careless, without Liam here to impress all the time. If I didn't have to wear make up, I wasn't going to. Of course, I'd put on makeup and some jeans instead of yoga pants once we got home, before we went shopping with Perrie and Eleanor.

"Arielle," a woman opened the door.

Arielle and I stood up and followed her back into a room. I sat in the chair while Arielle got on the bed and laid down. I zoned out on what the ultrasound technician was saying while she tucked a towel in the seam of Arielle's pants and squeezed the gel onto her stomach. I focused back again once I could see the baby on the screen. She took measurements, I made notes in my phone of all of them, including her heartrate. Then it was time to find out the sex.

"Hold on, am I able to FaceTime the baby's dad?" I asked.

"Yeah," she smiled.

I quickly FaceTimed Niall.

"Hey what's up is everything alright did something bad happen what's happening?" he said in hyper speed as he answered.

"Calm down, everything's fine, I just thought you'd like to find out the gender of your baby at the same time as the rest of us," I said.

"Oh, right, thank you Sam," he smiled.

I switched to back camera and the ultrasound tech moved the wand around.

"And here we have it," she said, pausing on the picture.

"Wait," Arielle looked, "What does that mean?"

I laughed and the ultrasound tech chuckled.

"Arielle, that's a little boy," I said.

The boys had gathered around Niall and they all yelled and cheered while Arielle started to cry happy tears. The ultrasound tech cleaned off Arielle's stomach and handed me the photos she printed off and said she'd give us all a minute.

I handed Arielle my phone and Niall managed to get her to stop crying.

"Let me talk to Sam!" I heard Liam said.

"Here you go," Arielle handed me back my phone.

"Hey love," I smiled at him.

"Hey babe, how are you feeling today?"

"I'm pretty good, tired, and expecting to only get more tired as the day goes on, but good. I miss you though."

"I miss you too babe."

"How are you feeling today?"

"Tired as well, and lonely."

"But you've got the boys there with you."

"But he doesn't want to have sex with anyone who's here, he wants to have sex with you," Zayn said, making me roll my eyes.

"He's been wallowing in his own self pity really," Harry said, "It's almost a bit sad."

"Well babe, try not to wallow too much, we've got to go see the doctor now, so I'll text you in a little while."

"Alright babe, I love you."

"I love you too."

The FaceTime call ended and we went to see the doctor before leaving and going home. I got changed while Arielle ate, then Perrie and Eleanor came and picked us up. Eleanor had her dad's truck so that we could buy some of the bigger baby items and still have room. We went to a store that had just baby and toddler stuff.

"God baby boy stuff is so cute," I said as I looked through it with Perrie while Eleanor and Arielle were off looking at cribs.

"I know, I hope that when I have a baby it's a boy. I feel like Zayn would like that," she said.

"I think Zayn would love any baby that he has, especially since the mother will be you Per. He looks at you like he's never seen someone who's as beautiful as you are, like you're truly something sent down from heaven."

"Well what about you huh?"

"What about me?"

"Liam looks at you like you're a drop of sunshine that fell from the sky and landed right in his lap. He never stops talking about you, yet you're like his muse, you make him focus on his work because you inspire him, yet you distract him whenever he needs to have a distraction. I've never seen the guy so in love before honestly, and I've seen him with both of his ex girlfriends. He never once looked at either of them with the love in his eyes like he looks at you. We all thought he was crazy at first, liking a girl he saw at a club and going on a date with her, in public nonetheless, with someone he didn't know well enough to know if they were going to freak out or sell his phone number on eBay or something like that. But when we all met you at Niall's house, we could all just see it. He's been in love with you since day one, and it's nice to see him that happy, and it's nice to see you happy. And someday, you'll make adorable little brown haired, brown eyed babies that are going to be gorgeous and having singing voices like something you'd hear at the top of Mount Olympus and it'll be marvelous," she said, as I just stared at her while she said all of these things.

"I'll be right back," I said, grabbing my phone out of my purse and walking across the store while my phone dialed the number.

"Hey, is everything okay?"

"Yeah, I just wanted to tell you something."

"What's up babe?" Liam's voice comforted me.

"I just wanted to tell you that I love you Liam, a whole lot, and I'm glad you gave me your jacket that night, you may never understand how happy you make me, but I hope someday I can show you by making you just as happy."

"Aww baby, did Perrie go on one of her rants where she makes you all emotional?"

"Yeah," I chuckled.

"Well, I love you too Sam, with all my heart. I'm glad you took it. And I do hope someday I'll understand, and I also hope someday you understand how happy you make me."

I smiled, "Well, I just wanted to call and tell you that, we're in a baby store buying a whole bunch of crap so Arielle can feel like she's prepared."

"Alright, have fun baby."

"I'll try, you have fun too. You keep those boys working," I said.

"I will babe."

"Alright, I love you."

"I love you too.

The call ended and I walked back to find Perrie.

"Sorry, I make people emotional a lot," she said.

I laughed, "It's alright, I think I needed that. Some times, it takes someone else telling you about it all from an outside point of you to make you see what you've really got."

"Well good," she hugged me, then proceeded to show me all the outfits she had picked out.

We bought way too much stuff. Like, this kid was set for life almost with everything that we had bought him. Arielle only bought the bedding, agreeing with Niall on the phone while they were in the store that they would get the bigger furniture when the boys came back to visit.

While we were at home, Arielle texted back and forth with Niall about ideas for the nursery, which was going to be at his house so he could help out more when he's here. They decided on a theme and then she looked it up. Eleanor and I were in charge of painting the nursery, since Arielle shouldn't be breathing in all of those fumes.
