"Just going to leave your books with me, sunshine?" Grayson snarks at me from behind.
I sigh with frustration, "Don't call me 'Sunshine'." I didn't really want him to stop calling me that. But in reality, I knew that this must be a prank. The bell rings as I walk in front of my class's door. "See what you did?"
He let out a chuckle. "I did nothing. All I did was offer to carry your books..." He gave an innocent tone that made him sound like a sweet little boy.I marched over to his side, attempting to take my books. But before I reach out Grayson put his index finger over my lips, signally to be quiet. He took his finger back and paced over to the classroom door. He just sat my books down and gave me a wink. I responded with a slow nod and he proceeded to his class.
When a couple more classes went by, it was lunch. I sat with my tray at the back table. As I nibbled on a disheveled piece of pizza, I see Grayson lift himself from his own table, and approach mine.
"This seat taken, Sunshine?"
