"No...no.." I mutter.
Concern overtook Grayson's face, "Sunshine, I didn't mean to make you upset. I was just.... Sunshine?"I backed away from him. His words didn't settle right in my ears. They all felt like lies. Someone like Grayson would never talk to someone like me. Let alone take them on a date.
"I-I-I can't stay here." I stutter.
"Sunshine...."
"I'm sorry Gray.... b-but no..."
"Sunshine--Payton! Please, what did I do?!" He shouted at me from behind but I had to ignore him. Everything he was saying was just a lie.

The next day was Saturday. Every Saturday I get up to explore the city. By explore I mean roam around taking in the sights, sounds, smells and feelings.
I stopped in front of the Kay Jewelers store and stared through the window at all of the beautiful pieces. One in particular was a silver ring bracelet with a shiny blue butterfly on the side.
I see Grayson out of the corner of my eye, but before I could say anything, he pulled me into the alley a couple stores down.
"Grayson!--"
"Quiet, Sunshine..." he whispered.
