Low Pressure (Kakashi x Reader x Itachi)

Chapter 1

"How the hell did this happen.."

Kakashi was on top of Itachi, punching him repeatedly in the face. Both of them badly bruised and covered in blood. They were fighting, and it was all because of me.

"Stop fighting! Please!" I screamed while on the ground, tears rolling down my face. They ignored my cries, at this rate they'll end up killing each other. They were such good friends before... how did it result into this? Well, we'd have to go back to when we all started college together in the Hidden Leaf University (HLU).

~ August 10th, five months before now ~

Me and Kakashi were at the front gates of HLU, suitcases in hand and still more stuff in his car. I was so excited to finally start our "4-year college plan" with Kakashi. We had long planned this since our freshman year of High school. We've been best friends since our days in the academy, and we do everything together. So if you couldn't tell from that alone, we're extremely close, almost like family.

"(Name) you have so much junk that we have to make more than two trips from the dorms to my car." Kakashi sighed.

"Chill out, Bakashi. You know I couldn't leave my stuff at home, plus these are all the necessities we'll need this year! Our freshman year is going to be so much fun, I can already see us getting wild!" I threw my arms up in the air. Kakashi hit me on the top of my head.

"Quit it, you know college isn't all fun and games. We need to focus on our grades if we ever plan on graduating in four years. And we've been through this already, you promised you'd stop calling me Bakashi when we graduated from High school. I don't want to have to go through another year of that." Kakashi shivers looking back at those moments in High school when Bakashi has gone wrong in so many ways.

"Hehe, my bad KAKASHI. But you also promised you'd loosen up too. You know party, and meet new people. You especially need it since you broke up with Rin-chan. Ever since she cheated on you with Obito you've been a depressing bore." I crossed my arms as we got near the dorms.

"Shut up, I forgave them for it. I knew Obito had a massive crush on her and I got with her anyway. They were literally meant to be what can I do about it." Kakashi shrugs.

"That's not what you said in May. 'Those son of a-" Kakashi covered your mouth before I could finish my sentence.

"Alright I was an emotional mess, but I'm over it now. So let's leave those moments back in high school, shall we?" Kakashi said as we entered the building.

"Alright alright, you can never take a joke." I waved my hand, dismissing the topic. "Well, here's my room! Room 267, remember it Kashi."

"You need to remember my room, not the other way around. I've known your room number since they sent you the information about it." Kakashi pinched my cheeks. "Mine is 349."

"Hey, ow! Stop that hurts!" I slapped his hand. "I'll meet up with you outside to get the rest of my stuff."

"Alright, call me if you get lost." Kakashi walked away while waving.

"Baka! I won't get lost!" I literally felt a vein popping out of my forehead. He's so irritating! But even so, I still have a massive crush on him. Yeah, I know I said he was my best friend, I can't fall for my best friend! Even so, I already vowed to get over him. I don't wanna ruin years worth of friendship if he doesn't like me back. I just wished I had confessed to him before he got with Rin back then.

I slapped my face to focus on the task at hand. Meeting my new roommate! I unlocked my door to find someone already unpacking their belongings. Oh my god, I know her!

"Kurenai-chaaaaannnn!!!!" I jumped into Kurenai's arms and gave her a bear hug. I was crying anime tears, I knew she was coming here too but I didn't expect her to be my roommate! She's like my female best friend when I can't talk about feminine things with Kakashi.

"Whoa, hey! So you're my roommate? Wow talk about the universe working in our favor." Kurenai says while ruffling my hair. I look up to her so much! She's so strong and beautiful, and let's not forget intelligent. She tutored me throughout High school and she'll be doing so for another four years!!!

"I missed you so much over the summer! Bakasuma just had to take you on vacation over the summer." I pouted.

"Let's not bring the Bakasuma phase back, let it die in High school." She shivered remembering the Baka moments. I nearly called everyone Baka, it came with disturbing times we shall not speak of anymore. It was worse for Kakashi and Asuma.

"R-right.." I said sweatdropping.

"Anyways, I have to go meet up with Asuma. I already chose my bed and unpacked my things so just make yourself at home. See you!" Kurenai hugs me again before she leaves.

"Geez, Kurenai's always the early one. Oh well, let me leave my suitcase here so I can go meet Kashi." I thought to myself. I threw my suitcase on my bed and sprinted out the door only to hit someone and fall on my ass. Typical.

"Oww... I'm sorry about-" I look up to see a handsome guy with long jet black hair tied back in a ponytail and onyx colored eyes. "That.." I was literally blushing like hell, I'm too clumsy for my own good but damn did I run into a fine guy.

"It's fine, I was at fault too. Are you okay?" The guy asked me, helping me up at the same time. His voice was so low, I could listen to him talk all day.

"Y-yeah, I'm fine thank you. I'm-"

Ring! Ring! Ring!

My phone had gone off the minute I was going to introduce myself. Ugh! Such bad timing, to make matters worse it was Kakashi calling me. "Oh crap, I almost forgot about Kakashi. Sorry I have to go bye!"

"Oh, um bye." I heard the guy say as I ran away. How I wished that could've gone better. I ran out the dorms to find Kakashi all the way down the street waving to me. He could have at least waited for me.

"Hurry up I'm not carrying all this by myself!" Kakashi yelled.

"You could've waited for me, you Spiky Baka!" I yelled back as I ran. I could literally see Kakashi's poker face. Hilarious! I've got a new nickname for him, and he's gonna have to get used to it for the rest of the year.
