I had my face in my pillow as Kakashi entered my room. I quickly got up thinking it was Kurenai but when I saw Kakashi instead, I just wanted to tell him to get the fuck out.

"(Name) are you alright? I was worried about you, did something happen with Itachi?" Kakashi said while sitting next to me on my bed.

"You were worried? You didn't seem so worried when you were with Anko. And if something happened with Itachi? What does it matter to you." I said while sitting up and looking away from Kakashi. Kakashi grabbed my chin with his fingers and made me look at him.

"Anko isn't important, you are. Also, if something happened with Itachi that made you upset then it's my fault because I introduced you to him. You don't think anything that has to do with you wouldn't matter to me?" Kakashi said while pulling his mask down to reveal his face. I've seen his face plenty of times but every time I do, his expressions always effect me. Right now he had a concerned face, I broke and gave Kakashi a tight hug.

" Relax, I'm here..." Kakashi whispered to me. He rested his chin on my head. Being in Kakashi's embrace always calms me down. Only he can manage to make me relax from panicking. I felt him stroking my hair, I took one of his hands and intertwined his with mine. He didn't refuse it nor complained, I felt like he wanted this too.

"You feeling better now?" He said as I pulled away a little bit to look at him. I nodded my head and gave him a smile. It's no wonder why I fell for him... he's cares so much about my well-being and knows how to manage my feelings with care. It's really unfair that I was given the title of best friend, especially because for such a long time I wanted to be more than that. Then I noticed Kakashi looking away and a light blush appearing on his face. His hair was blocking it a little so I pushed some of it back to find myself lost in Kakashi's gaze. He was stunned for a second and reacted to me touching him. Kakashi was on top of me, staring at me with his eyes. One eye was black while the other had a scar and was red. I extended my hand and carressed his face. Kakashi closed his eyes and accepted my touch. He looked at me one more time before he took my hand and brought it towards his lips and kissed it. I could tell my whole face was red.

"(Name)... I have to tell you something. This seems like the perfect moment to tell you. I.. I... I li-"  then there was a knock on the door.

"Kakashi, (Name). Is everything alright? You've been talking for a while..." Kurenai said outside the door. For the first time in my life, I wish Kurenai wasn't here and would go away.

"Yeah, give us a second." Kakashi yelled to her. Then he faced me again and smiled.

"Well, I guess now's not the right time. Just text me what happened with Itachi." Then he leaned in closer and was by my ear.

"Hopefully, the moment we just had will get your mind off of what happened with him." I felt his lips on my ear. I closed my eyes and held my chest as I felt the butterflies in my stomach go insane. Kakashi put his mask back on and got off me. He smiled at me one more time before he opened the door and walked past Kurenai.

"Why's he so happy?" Kurenai said as she got near me, I looked away.

"That's something I'd like to know..."

~~ Next morning ~~

It was such a drag to get up so early from my morning classes. Literally, Kurenai dragged me out of bed to wake up. After what happened last night with Kakashi, I couldn't fall asleep at all as I replayed that moment a thousand times in my head. But I was also thinking about Itachi as well. Ugh, so complicated. Kurenai and I both met up with Kakashi and Asuma to go get some breakfast in the cafe.
