Low Pressure (Kakashi x Reader x Itachi)

Chapter 7

Itachi and I had just finished our last class of the day and were walking out of campus together so we could get something to eat.

"So, Itachi, what do you wanna eat?" I said while giving him a smile. He smiled back softly at me.

"Honestly, I'll eat anything you want to eat (Name)-chan." He said while pushing his hair back in the wind. My eyes were locked on his silky hair, I wanted to touch it so bad!!! But I had to keep self-control. Itachi chuckled as if he knew what I was thinking about.

"You wanna feel my hair?" He grinned at me. All I could do was nod in embarrassment because I was so obvious in my desire to feel his hair. He grabbed my hand, which sent a shock through my arm, and placed it on his head. I stroked his hair all the way down to his ponytail. I was blushing and at the same time amazed.

"You have to let me do your hair. Please?" I gave Itachi a puppy dog face as he sighed and smiled at me. He poked my forehead with his index and middle finger.

"Sorry, maybe next time. And only if you go to a party with me on Saturday." Itachi added as we got near the end of a sidewalk to cross the road. Itachi stopped but I kept walking, unaware there was a car coming. Itachi's eyes widened as he grabbed my wrist and yanked me towards him. I was shocked as soon as I was in his embrace. I looked up to see Itachi sighing in relief.

"Please look both ways before you cross the street. That car would've hit you if I didn't pull you back. I don't know what would've happened if you got hurt, please be careful." Itachi said still holding me by the waist while pushing a strand of my hair behind my ear. I could feel heat rise in my cheeks. Itachi was really close and was looking into my eyes. I nearly got lost in his onyx eyes, that was until he let go of my waist and held my hand as we crossed the street.

"Itachi, I can walk on my own you know." I said while giggling. He laughed as we made it to the other side and looked at me.

"I know you can, but I rather not risk the chance of something like that from happening again. So in the meantime I'll hold your hand and keep you safe." Itachi said while intertwining his fingers with mine. I was smiling at him until I looked behind me at the front entrance of the campus. Kakashi was with some other girl I've never seen before and looked upset as our eyes met. The other girl looked so beautiful, she had a small face with jade-colored hair. She smiled at Kakashi, grabbed his arm and dragged him away. She stuck her tongue at me as they left into campus. I felt my heart shattering into so many pieces. Tears were forming in my eyes.

"How could he... Loving him all those years... sticking by his side... just to be replaced again by another girl.." I thought as tears fell from my eyes. Itachi witnessed the whole thing and clenched his fist.

"(Name)-chan, let's go to the cafe so we can talk. After seeing that, I know you need someone to talk to about your feelings." Itachi said while wiping the tears on my face away. I forced a smile as I nodded my head.

~ To the Uchiha Café ~

As me and Itachi walked in, two men waved at us from the counter. They were smiling at us. One was Madara-sensei and a man who looked like him, with long Spiky hair tied in a ponytail, who I assumed worked in the Café. I looked at Itachi, who was waving back to them. We walked towards them, forgetting we were still holding hands. Madara-sensei took a sip of his coffee and noticed our hands. He smirked along with the other man, who was wiping the counter with a rag.

"Why hello there, Mrs. (Name) and Itachi. I didn't know you two were a couple." Madara-sensei smirked before he took another sip of his coffee. Our eyes widened as we looked at each other then our hands and let go of each other. I looked away blushing while Itachi looked the opposite direction and coughed. The other man on the opposite side of the counter laughed.
