Trinity went up stairs to Annabel room. Annabel was in her bed wearing a white nightgown with blue petal detailing and on her bed she had many *flannels and handkerchiefs on it. Annabel was reading the book that Trinity saw her tuck away earlier.

"May I come in" Trinity knocked on the door

"Sure" Annabel said, than making the book disappear with a flick of her wand then hiding her wand under the covers.

"You feeling better?" Trinity asked as she sat on Annabel's bed

"Yeah, I'll live... I hope. That potion was very gross." Annabel said making the same green face as before.

"Wait til you try Polyjuice." Trinity said in her head.

"My dad said that!"

"Wait how did you, nevermind that. So what are you doing to pass the time, practicing magic, playing wizard chess or maybe..." Trinity with a flick of her wrist brought the book back into her hands "Or maybe some reading?"

"Hey that's my book!" Annabel got up and sat on her knees tried to reach for the book but Trinity pulled it away causing her to lose balance and falling face first next to Trinity "How did you do that?" Annabel paused "I thought they took away your wand, I didn't see you use-" she was very confused. Trinity smiled a little.

"Enough about me and my 'magical abilities'," Trinity waved dismissively. "There are some things we need to talk about. Whats got you so distressed about being a Slytherin?" Annabel didn't answer she crawled back into her bed and put the covers over her head. "I was a Slytherin, you know?"

"I do." She said under the covers

"Well I turned out alright, I think." Trinity said, with a chuckle.

"You didn't have a family because you were put in Slytherin." Still under the covers.

"And that was their choice." Trinity said sternly. "Still, I had your mother, father, and Mark. Family isn't always blood, Annabel, it's the people who you want in your life and wants you in their life."

"You did fine without your parents?" Finally pulling up from under the covers.

"I did." Trinity nodded. "Your parents would never leave you Annabel. They love you and are so proud of you. No matter what house you got." Annabel sighed and looked down. "Slytherin is a wonderful opportunity for you. We don't all turn out evil." Trinity took Annabel's hand a squeezed it. "You are a brilliant child, Annabel, and I don't think there is another house more suited for you than Slytherin. There is so much this house can offer you and your studies." Trinity's words did put Annabel at ease, as she looked her Aunt who smiled. "Now, why do you have this book and why are you so interested in..." Trinity started flipping the book over.

"Fantastic Beasts and where to find them" Annabel replied as she sunk down into the bed. "Just catching up on reading for next year I guess..."

"I think it has to do more about the author."

"Do you know about Newton Scamander?"

"I sure do." Trinity said flipping through the pages. "I know he's your Great Great Grandfather."

"Why would my parents keep him a secret?"

"He was an amazing man," Trinity started, closing the book. "But in 1926 a muggle found his case and let out some monsters in the muggle world. Many people hated him for that. He also saved the city and found Grindalwal a bad wizard before Voldem- he who shall not be named. Your parents were trying to protect you from-"

"So they were protecting me from what? A thought?" Annabel stated, offended. "Thoughts I might think my great great grandfather was a hero while other... Others hate him? From what you're telling me he sounded like a hero and nothing like a villain." The girl defended. "We even learn about him, his work next year. People at school are asking me questions about him I can't answer. Even if they don't say it directly but think it I-" Annabel than covers her mouth with her hands. Annabel quickly realizing what she said flicking her wand and disappeared and reappeared in the kitchen.

"Honey!" Alyssa said with a fright. "Annabel! What have I told you about teleporting in the house?! And you should stay in your room until you are 100% better." Alyssa said.

"I'm fine- achoo!"

"Listen to your mother I'll bring you a slice" Kayden said bring his daughter upstairs. As Annabel was walking up stairs with her father when Trinity was walking down stairs. Annabel looked straight at Trinity and quickly put her head down trying to ignore her. Trinity noticing this and had one single thought to check her suspicions.

'Second snake statue in the common room is where I hid my sweets and other important items. No one ever checks there.'

Annabel's face lit up as she looked at Trinity. Trinity nodded her head not looking at the girl as she went on. She turned to corner to the kitchen to meet Alyssa heading out.

"Umm, Alyssa? We need to talk." Trinity said firmly.

"Yes we do." Alyssa agreed, waving for her to sit down at the table.
