Chapter 21: Hidden Lake

The next morning arrived and a bright light was shining throughout the room. Jenny shook Annabel awake and told her to meet her for breakfast. When Jenny left she arose from her bed and starting to get ready. She put on a new Skirt and a blouse. She went to go fetch her vest from her closet when she had a jump scare.

"Ahh," She said while jumping back falling onto the floor.

"Annabel, you ok?" Cedric yawn while climbing out with a black article of clothing on top of his head

"Yeah, I just didn't expect you to be in there." She said still shaking. Cedric came closer to her and stopped a foot away from her

"I believe this is yours" Grabbing the vest off his head.

"Thanks, Ced, and were you in there the whole time? I'm sorry if you were." Annabel said as Cedric handed her the vest and he stood up right next to her. He held her hand and still felt it shaking.

"It's alright angel," he said pulling her into an embrace. "It's was just me." He said pecking her with a soft gentle kiss. Annabel looked at Cedric with a charming smile and said

"Why did you stop?" Cedric let out a giggle and pressed his lips to the girls but this time he kissed her for a longer amount of time.

"Cedric, Jenny!" Annabel said. "She going to notice I'm not at breakfast and so will Henry. We have to go."

"Your right like always," He said trying to sound cute but didn't come out that way. He pulled her in closer for one more kiss and released her. "I will meet you downstairs. She said to him as she grabbed her green tie and put it on.

Annabel and Cedric made there way down to the great hall where Cedric split off to met with Henry at the Ravenclaw table.

"Great to see you bud, I overheard what the Third task is going to be!" Henry said to Cedric.

"Yeah that's great but Henry I need to tell you something and you have to promise it stays between us ok!"

"Yeah what is it?" Henry said

"Well, Annabel and I are.."

"What do you mean you guys aren't related? Jenny said

"Our parents lied to us. My mom and Trinity were best friends in school and wanted us to be the same and Since Trinity and Oliver were around so much I guess I called her Aunt and it just stuck since. Annabel said

"When did you find out?" Henry said

"Well, when I got that letter we have been talking about," Cedric said

"Dude that's weird but you know what this means?" Henry said excitedly

"What?" Cedric said confused

"You two could date! Don't you see it You like her and Shes likes you! Perfect match"

"Henry!"

"Come on don't lie to me that you never had feelings for her," Henry said almost jumping out of his seat.

"Well..." Cedric said trying not to spill the secret

"No way! Oh, man, I knew it! Cedric my man!" Henry looks into Cedric's worried eyes. "You kissed her!" Henry said patting him on the back.

"No, we didn't" trying to cover it up

"Cedric, you have lipstick on you and as your friend, I know cherry pop isn't your shade," Henry said with a smirk on his face. "You sly dog," Henry said now jumping over the moon because of the new couple.

"Will you calm down before you scream it to the whole school.

"You actually kissed her! I know this is important to you and if you ever need a spot come to me I know a lot of good hiding spots" Henry said. Henry has a girlfriend himself named Keri and they know all the good spots where no one will find out.

"Thanks, so tell me about the third task," Cedric said

After breakfast Cedric, Henry, Annabel, and Jenny went to their classes for the rest of the day. Finishing off their class day at Kayden's class.

"Can anyone tell me what a Snallygaster is?" Kayden asked. Looking around the room Annabel knew no one knew what the creature was but her. She looked at Cedric who was sitting next to him and he shrugged his shoulder. Annabel had a feeling her dad was going to call upon her since she seen the creature before class last week. Cedric could tell Annabel was getting stressed out so she took her hand and held it tightly under the desk so no one could see since they sit in the back of the room.

"Well then, Annabel? Would you mind explaining what a Snallygaster is." Kayden said

Cedric dropped her hand as she stood up. "it's part bird, part reptile and a distant relative of the Occamy. It kind of looks like a feathered dinosaur if you ask me." She said trying not to be such an animal nerd.

"Very good. Now over here I have a Snallygaster and we are going to figure out where it's from and understand it for our next quiz." Kayden said while with a flick of his wand uncovering the creature and flipping the student's textbooks to that page.

After classes, Cedric took Annabel by the hand and said "Follow me, I have something to show you." pulling her outside and onto a path

"Alright, Alright but you can slow down you know we have all weekend."

"I know but Henry told me about this and I have to show you." Cedric than continued to pulled take Annabel down the path and into a wooded area. They then came to a halt when Cedric said. "We here!". Annabel looked around she could not believe her eyes. It was a beautiful waterfall with a crystal clear blue pond at the bottom.

"Shall we dive in?" Cedric said already taking off his shirt.

"Cedric I don't have my-" Annabel said but before she could finish saying swimsuit Cedric pulled out her one-piece swimsuit that was green and in the top half was nautical green and white.

"How did you?"

"It's not like at lunch I went to your dorm. Just put it on!"

"Alright I will go over here but no peeking"

As Annabel went over behind some bushes Cedric unbuckled his belt and took off his uniform pants and was left with his swim trunks underneath. He then put his clothes on a nearby rock. Annabel did the same thing placing her clothes next to his.

"Should we go for a swim?"

"Sure," Annabel said as the two jumped into the water. Annabel's hair spread apart as she went under causing it to look like fine seaweed while Cedric stood straight up. Cedric came up for air and shook his head to adjust the way his hair felt and to dry it off some. Then Annabel came up for air as well but brushed her hair back.

"This place is amazing! How did you?"

"Like I said, Earlier Henry."

"Right then" Annabel said. Cedric took a deep breath and went under water while Annabel stayed above.

"Cedric," she said slashing around to make him come up

"Ceddy," She said once more

"Ced ohh," she said as she was picked up by Cedric. He held her in a cradle position and she had placed her arm around Cedric's shoulder for support.

"Don't scare me like that," she said splashing him.

"Oh, what will you do? This?" Cedric said as he leaned in for a kiss.

"Something like that" She giggled at the boy.

Cedric let go of Annabel and they went for a swim together they explored the pond and went under the waterfall and just sat under there and talk for a while until they decided they should go back before someone sends a patrol out looking for the two. They got out and started to dry off. Then they got their regular clothes on and headed towards the castle for dinner. 

AN: Sorry for the lack of writing hopefuly this chapter would help. Ive been so busy with school, dance, work, graduation its been a busy while.
