Chapter 20: Half-blood Lover

 There was a knock at the Slytherin door. A repetitive bang was occurring. Kelly and Jenny looked at the door confused why anyone would bang on the door this late at night?

"I will get it" Jenny said while setting aside her tea and getting off the couch. Kelly also put her tea down and picked up a book to replace what she was holding.

"Oh, Cedric!" Jenny said while fixing her hair and outfit. "Come In we were just having tea."

Cedric brushed right past her as if he never saw her and a ghost open the door and went straight up to the girl's room to find Annabel. Annabel was looking for her book that her grandfather wrote and had the whole place upside down. She was in a panic that she could not find it.

There was a knock at the girl's door and Cedric said

"Can I come in?"

"Come in, you can help me find my book" Cedric entered with a smile on his face as his confidence grew more. "Oh my father is going to kill me if he founds out I lost the book and He might ground me, or fail me or worse he might..." He took his hand and touched her cheek and cradle his hand to her face. Annabel had a slight smile, Cedric then placed his hand under her chin and pressed it up. He then pressed his soft lips to upon hers. Then pulled away for a second.

"Why did you do that?" Annabel asked while touching her lips

"I've seen that kissing a Scamander calms them down." He said jokingly.

Cedric and Annabel made eye contact and Annabel touched her lips and had a slight smile you can tell she felt the same way about the boy. Cedric then placed his hand under her chin and pressed it up and pulled his face to Annabel's to give her another kiss. He reached his hands down to her lower back to push her closer to him. Annabel and Cedric still kissing, he brushed his hand up her face to rub her curly hair. Her eyes began to flutter than suddenly they grew wider as she pulled away from the kiss. Cedric still holding her lower back.

"Cedric, we can't do this at least not here what if someone sees us?"

"So who cares, I will shout my love for you from the highest tower and tell every living soul how much I love you."

Annabel was stunned to hear this from him. She always knew about the way he felt towards her, but she never thought he would say it outloud. "Quiet down Romeo, I feel the same way but." She took a pause Cedric's face looked stunned as if she was going to tell him the worst news ever. "A lot of people think we are cousins and if we start kissing anywhere it will look bad! We don't want any more labels do we?"

Cedric removed his hand behind her lower back making Annabel feeling a chill. "I guess you are right" He brushed his hand on her cheek and said " I don't want to be known as "Son of death eater and kisser of cousins" It doesn't have a nice ring to it"

"And I don't want to be known as Zoo girl who kisses cousins. We have to find a secret spot if we want to continue." Annabel said

The two have an adorable height difference. Cedric is 5'8 while Annabel is 5'1. So anytime they are embracing, Annabel head just about reaches his shoulder so she can lay her head on him. Annabel looked up and gave Cedric a kiss.

"Off you go!" she said.

"I will find a place my love" He said turning the doorknob.

"Wait!" Annabel said as Cedric pulled away from the door. "You have lipstick on your face. Here let me get it off. There now you are off."

Cedric walked out of the dorm and down to the common room where he again not noticing Jenny fixing herself, he walked right out of the Slytherin room and headed straight to the Hufflepuff room where he thought of a place.
