Chapter 9: Yule Ball disaster

Later that evening the two were in the common room Cedric was waiting for Annabel outside the girls quarters. "Hold on!" Annabel called to Cedric, who was knocking on the bedroom door waiting for her. In order for Cedric to stay in the common room she would give him her robe and he would hide his tie. But this time Cedric was wearing a black suit waiting for Annabel to get ready. The agreed they would go to the ball as friends together.

"It's weird sitting by myself in the common room Annabel!" Cedric whined.

"Just one minute, Cedric!" Annabel said. Cedric was a little nervous this was his first school dance and his crush Jenny who is also a Slythrin would be there. Jenny also rooms with Annabel and that's another reason why he loves their common room. Annabel open the door wearing a green short sleeve dress that touched the floor. It was almost like a ball gown but not as fluffy.

"Wow you look amazing, That color really complements your eyes!" Cedric said.

"Cedric, My eyes are blue, blue and green don't mix" She said seriously

"Thanks" The girl smiled, her fingers rubbing the soft fabric. "Your Mum sent it to me."

"Well my Mum does have good taste."

"Yeah yeah. Are you ready to go or do you want to wait a couple of minutes?" Annabel says while nudging Cedric giving him a hint.

"Is Jenny almost ready?" Cedric asked. Annabel nodded her head and grin.

"If you don't mind can we wait?"

"Sure thing cuz." As the two sat down on the couch the common room door swung open.

"Why don't you two look handsome and beautiful" Kayden said

"Thanks dad do you really like it?" Annabel asked, standing and twirling for her father.

"Of course." Kayden smiled. "It's familiar, though, I can't seem to place it."

"Aunt Trinity and Mum sent it to me." Annabel smiled.

"Ah of course." Kayden nodded and hugged her. Cedric was sitting on the couch watching the stairway to the girls dorm. Kayden looked at Cedric, than back to Annabel with a knowing smile.

"Jenny?"

"Jenny." Annabel confirmed, as the two Scamander's laughed.

"Ok so the plan is to what exactly?" Draco said losing his patience.

"We don't even know if he is coming back. Oh wait he is not coming back because he was dead." Trinity said angrily

"The plan as of right now is to stay alert. His scar has not hurt for 20 years and all of a sudden it starts to hurt." Hermione said to the room. Trinity leaded over to Alyssa.

"Tell them, tell them we are right he's not coming back you have not seen anything in your visions" Trinity whispered over to Alyssa.

"I can't for many reasons one I'm not going to tell I can see the future and two I haven't had any visions lately so I can tell them he's not back." Alyssa whispered back to Trinity but she was not expecting that answer.

"I am alerting the Wizard cops to be on alert. And you two" Hermione spoke quickly, pointing to Draco and Trinity "Are going on a secret mission. You two will be going under cover and if anything not normal happens alert me immediately" She ordered.

"Got it." Trinity said as the two left the room to prep for the mission, Alyssa followed.

"Are you sure you are up to this? It might bring back some memories maybe I should do this." Alyssa said to Trinity
