Chapter 12 - Telescope

Somi woke up hearing strange scratching noise coming from the outside. As usual, Seongwoo's cooking breakfast, but this time he's with Jinyoung.

"Good morning guys." she greeted. "Is there anything I can help you with?" she asked.

"Yes!" Seongwoo turned to see her. "That guy destroying the pool, kindly make him stop." he said with an obvious irritated voice.

"Sure, I'll try." she said before going out. And there goes Daniel, skating in the drained pool. So it was true.

She couldn't get herself to ask him to stop. He looks like his having the time of his life. She didn't want to be that person to take that away from him. So she just sat there and watched.

Back inside the house, Samuel found himself waking up early because Somi's no longer on the couch.

He forced himself to walk towards the kitchen, jumping on the counter to lay down face down. "Where's Somi?" he asked on his sleepy voice, startling Jinyoung when he turned around.

"Don't ask me! I'm not her mother." Seongwoo said, slapping his butt, making Samuel sit up. "That's not a bed! I suggest you go outside and look for her or go back to sleep and wake up whenever you want to." he said.

Samuel unconsciously walked towards his room to sleep, but heard Daniel skating outside. He knew that he won't stop unless he's tired. And when did Daniel got tired? No, he doesn't get tired. Whatever energy drink he's drinking, Samuel wanted it.

He opened the window to check up on him and he saw Somi. She's watching Daniel skate.

Daniel stopped walking towards her, offering a hand. "Wanna try?" he asked. Samuel smirked, he couldn't believe Daniel would do that. If Samuel doesn't know him well, he'd get the wrong idea and thinks that he likes Somi.

But Daniel, he's not interested in girls.

Somi took his hand, giving her full trust on him. And they skated away from the real world.

It was fun and all that until Daniel let go of her. And she fell. "Aaaah!" she yelped in pain.

Samuel immediately slid open his window to help Somi.

"Are you ok?" Samuel asked in concern, before glaring at Daniel, who stood there with blank expression.

"Why did you do that?" Samuel yelled at him.

"Did what?" Daniel asked, still no emotion on his face.

"Why did you let go of her? You know it's her first time." Samuel stood up, ready to punch Daniel on the face.

"In teaching, you can't keep holding her hands to support. You need to let her go and let her learn Samuel. Be ready for scratches and bruises, it's either you'd stop because of the pain or you go again until you see an improvement." he said.

"It's all good Samuel. He's only teaching me. It was me who's clumsy." she defended Daniel.

After that, breakfast became awkward. Samuel was still mad at Daniel. It's like he turned into a psychopath overnight. What was he thinking about tonight that he turned into this cold guy.

Youngmin felt the silence, checking his food if there's any spicy things in there. He kept on slicing his omelette and digging onto his bread.

Jinyoung was offended on how he's destroying the breakfast he prepared, that he kicked Youngmin's feet underneath the table.

"Agghhh!" Youngmin flinched. "Who's that?" he warned.

"Who's what?" Hyeop asked. Youngmin instantly thought it was him. He's lucky he still has that wound on his face, or Youngmin's sure that he will fuck this guy up.
