"We're here," Marc tells me all of the sudden after we've been driving for a little while.
"What?" I ask confused as I look around, trying to figure out what and where 'here' is.
"Just park over there," Marc tells me as he points t a parking spot on the side of the road. I do as he tells me and shut off the engine.
"Where are we going?"
"Follow me," Marc says before he gets out of the car. I get out as well and follow Marc as he makes his way to what looks like a café. Marc opens the door for me and I step inside. The interior of the café surprises me and I turn my head to Marc, who smiles at me.
"This is so nice!" I tell him.
"I know. Come on, Let's sit down on one of the couches, we can do our homework there," Marc says as he points the group of couches on the left. I nod and make my way over there. I sit down on one of the couches and Marc sits down next to me. Soon enough, a waiter makes his way over to us.
"Hello, would you like to order something?" the waiter asks.
"I'd like a cup of tea please," I say.
"A cup of coffee for me please," Marc says. The waiter nods, writes down our order and walks off.
"How do you know about this place?" I ask Marc as I look around.
"I just stumbled upon it one time, I don't even remember when it was. But it's one of my favorite places to go. No one I know knows this place and it's not even that far from our house."
"No, it's not. But how come no one knows about it?"
"Because I usually go here by myself."
"I feel honored."
"You should," Marc says, making me chuckle.
"So, what kind of homework do you have?"
"Math, some English and economics. You?"
"English and economics as well. And art."
"How about we start with English and economics and then we can both do the other subject after that?"
"Sounds good to me," I say as the waiter comes back with our order.
"A coffee for you," he says as he places the coffee in front of Marc.
"Thank you," Marc says.
"And a tea for the lady," the waiter says as he places the tea in front of me, which earns him a look from Marc that I don't really understand.
"Thank you," I say. The waiter smiles at me before walking off.
"I don't like him," Marc tells me.
