As he starts sucking on my neck slightly, moans start slipping out of my mouth, which seems to motivate Marc to keep going. I pull Marc's head up and connect his lips with mine again, his tongue slipping into my mouth right away
"WHAT ON EARTH IS GOING ON HERE?"
I pull away from Marc as soon as I hear the voice, but don't move from my spot on Marc's lap, even though I maybe should. I turn around and see my dad standing in the living room. Throughout my entire life, I've never seen him this furious. Behind him stands my mom, who is looking at Marc and I with a blank expression, probably not knowing how to react.
"Dad, please," I start as I get off Marc's lap, but dad cuts me off.
"I told you two specifically that you weren't allowed to date. You told me nothing is going on. You lied to me Alexandra!" dad yells at me, making me wince as he uses my full name.
"No, I didn't lie, I swear!"
"You did! Don't tell me nothing is going on between you, because we all know that's not true."
"When you asked me, nothing was going on. I swear," I say as I take a few steps towards my dad.
"So you thought it'd be fine to start something together after I asked? After I told you not to?"
"No, of course not! We didn't mean for anything to happen, we just-"
"Of course not, that's never the case. But it did happen Alexandra!"
"I know and we're both really sorry. But we couldn't help it!"
"Of course you couldn't. Well I can't help myself from kicking Marc out then!"
"Dad!" I exclaim in shock.
"Leonard," mom says as she puts her hands on my dad's arm, making him look at her, "don't do this."
"Why not Sarah?"
"They clearly really like each other, why not give them a chance?"
"They lied to us Sarah. They broke our trust."
"It's okay, I'll pack my stuff," Marc says as he gets up from the couch and starts making his way to his room.
"No, that's not necessary," I say, stopping him by grabbing his arm.
"Alexa, let's not make this any harder than it is," Marc whispers to me.
"I don't want it to end like this."
"We'll get through this, I know we will," Marc tells me before he continues his way upstairs, leaving me behind confused with my parents still there.
"Alexandra, I hope you realize that you're not allowed to see him anymore, right?" dad tells me.
"Leonard, don't you think she's been punished enough?" mom asks, causing me to mentally thank her.
"We'll talk about it tomorrow, we have a dinner to get to," dad says before he walks out of the kitchen, leaving me with my mom.
"Mom, what am I supposed to do?" I ask her, feeling completely lost right now.
"I don't know sweetheart, I really don't," mom sighs before she follows dad outside. I sigh as well before making my way upstairs to Marc's room. When I walk into his room, he's already packing his stuff.
"Please don't do this," I ask Marc, but he keeps packing his stuff.
"Alexa, there's nothing we can do about it right now. The best thing I can do is do what your dad says."
