Ava
We all walk into the school, and go to our lockers that are all conveniently next to each other. Since Jesse and Piper weren't here yesterday, we compare schedules, and see that we have most of our classes together, like usual.
Each year we have all of our classes or most of our classes together, and we always drive the teachers crazy. One year, we were so bad that we caused a teacher to transfer to another school. It just seems like they never learn.
We all walk to social studies, and walk to a group of desks near each other. The rest of the students start to filter in, Felicity and her wannabe Barbie followers included. Right before the bell rang, Geo walked through the door, and takes a seat in the back of the class.
I give a questioning look to Vangie and she just shrugs. The teacher walks in shortly after, and announces that we are already starting a project. Groans are heard throughout the classroom, but he quickly quiets everyone down.
He explains that it will be a partner project, but we have assigned partners. For the project, we have to choose any event in the world's history and do an oral and visual presentation. He hands out the rubric, and starts naming off partners. I wait for my name to be called, and I hope I'm with one of my friends.
"Ava and Geo."
Crap. I look to the back of the classroom to find a smirking Geo. The teacher finishes naming off the groups.
"For the rest of the class, I want each group to get together and discuss what you want to do for the project. I expect a draft of your presentation by Monday and we will be presenting on Thursday." I inwardly groan, and get up to sit in the empty seat next to Geo.
"Hello partner," he says with a chuckle. I glare at him, then I let out a sigh. I pull out my notebook from my bag, and open it to the first page. I date the top, and put mine and Geo's name. "So what topic are you thinking about doing?" I ask, meeting his blue eyes.
"I don't really care. You can choose, just choose something interesting," he says while leaning back in his chair.
"Are you going to make me do all of the work? Cause if you are then I will make you fail and I get all of the credit," I say with an icy glare. My beast rumbles in my head, not liking how I was speaking to Geo, but I just ignore her.
"No I wasn't, I just don't care about the topic so calm down little red," Geo says with an amused smile on his face. I huff, annoyed with the nickname.
"Well then we are doing World War 2. Do you plan on working on this during free period or do you want to come over to my house?" I ask while jotting somethings down in the notebook.
"During our free period. Oh by the way, Luca invited me over tonight just to let you know," Geo says. I groan. I don't want to deal with both of them.
"Great, just don't annoy me and we'll get along just fine," I growl out. The bell rings, and I jump out of my seat, bolting out of the classroom.
For the rest of my morning classes, Geo has been in every single one of them, and he has made it his mission to annoy the hell out of me. It's weird if you ask me. He wasn't in any of them yesterday, but today he is.
My beast isn't complaining for some odd reason. She actually like spending time with him.
I walk down the hall to my locker to get my lunch. I wait for Vangie and Piper, since they are the only ones at their lockers right now, and we walk down the hall together. We walk over to our normal table, and take a seat.
I take out my food, and take a big bite of my sandwich. We all sit in silence, which is unusual for us since we're usually yelling at the top of our lungs.
"Who wants to come over for a bonfire on Friday?" I ask, taking another bite of my sandwich. "Me!" Vangie says, shooting her hand up. I chuckle at her, and look around to everyone else. "Anyone else?"
"I'm down, what about you Pipes?" Jesse says then looks at Piper. She nods, and turns to me. "Sounds good, I don't think I have anything going on." I nod, a smile crossing my face. "If Vangie is going then I'm going to," Peter says giving her a kiss on the cheek, causing her to giggle. Gag.
"Good, if you want you can all sleep over and then we can have just a lazy day," I say with a smile on my face. They all eagerly agree, and we settle on having a bonfire/sleep over at my house. My parents are going to kill me.
Last time we had everyone over, we ended up trashing the house and I was grounded for a month. Yeah, not the best choice I made.
"You can all sleep over as long as you all agree not to trash my house again, I don't want to be grounded for a month again," I say sternly looking at my friends. They nod, knowing my parents would kill us if we did.
We continue our lunch, talking about this weekend, and how amazing it's going to be. When the bell rings, we get up and go to the rest of our classes. The rest of my classes were boring, except for Geo who kept on trying to get my attention, and almost getting me in trouble which wasn't that surprising.
My science teacher, who is one of the strictest teachers you will ever meet, almost gave me a detention. Geo thought it would be funny to sit behind me, and keep poking me in the back with his pencil. I would turn around to glare at him, but he would just smile innocently at me.
I ended up yelling, louder than I anticipated, at him to stop. The whole class ended up looking at me, who was a blushing mess, while the teacher yelled at me, saying if I disturbed her class again I would have a detention. And I don't need another one on my record.
When the bell for my last class rang, I jumped out of my seat, and hurried to my locker. I want to get home before Luca and Geo do, so I can lock myself in my room so that they don't disturb me. I get my things from my locker, and rush outside to my car.
I hop in, and turn the car on, and get into the long line of cars to get out of the lot. I look around, looking for Luca's car. I spot it, and behind him is Geo on his bike. I groan, knowing they're going to be right behind me the whole way home. The line starts moving, and I slam on the gas pedal, wanting to get home.
The whole ride home, I drove with a lead foot, and it surprised me I didn't get pulled over. I turn off of the main road, and onto the dirt road. I reach the house, and hastily park the car. I can already hear the roar of the bike coming down the road, and I hurry inside.
I unlock the door, and run down the hall and up the stairs. I open my door, and quickly close it behind me. I calm my breathing, and strain my ears to hear them downstairs. I hear the front door slam shut, and their heavy footsteps walking down the hall, going to the kitchen I assume.
I wait to hear if their footsteps come upstairs, and when they don't I let out a sigh of relief. 'It's gonna be a long night.'
