Escape

My breathing quickens as he cages me in, he lowers his head till hes staring dead into my eyes.

"Please," I beg "Just let my brother go and you can have me."
Smirking he whispers quietly in my ear
"But I made two holes in the ground for you two only. My heart speeds faster in my heart and the next thing I do catches him off guard, I head butt him then as he holds his head and groans I kick him where the sun don't shine, making him fall to his knees. Swinging around I grab Charlie and cradle him in my arms, rushing past Simon I'm suddenly grabbed around by the ankle to where I trip and land on my side, releasing Charlie I yell

"Go Charlie! Go to the Maples!" struggling to release myself I make eye contact with Charlie whos hysterically crying. "Go, baby! Go now!" I yell.

Struggling against his hold on my ankle he pulls himself til he's straddling my torso,

"Please don't do this." I beg as tears rush down my cheeks.

"Shhhh." He silences me. Getting my energy back I shove him back hard then make a escape for the exit but he grabs me by my jeans and shoves me against the wall. Gasping as the pain in my back increases he grabs my throat picking me up off the ground.

Gasping for air I start to see black dots in my vision but as I look past Simon, my flashlight that flew out of my hand landed next to the opening where I can make a figure walking towards.
Clawing at his hands, he squeezes tighter, my eyes flash towards the opening and I can see Tobias putting a finger to his mouth indicating be quiet. Suddenly he swings his bat and it connects with Simon's head making me drop like a bag of bricks, wheezing out

"did....you..*wheeze*..see my brother?

  Tobias rushes towards me and shouts

"We gotta go!" Grabbing me under my armpits he helps me up, looking for Simon I see him spread out with blood rushing out of his head.

"Tobias, did you see my brother?" I ask as we fast walk through the exit,

"Yeah I saw someone run past me up the stairs." He replies.
Nodding gratefully we exit both rooms, we limp over to Jess who's starting to wake up. "Let's go Jess, now." Tobias mutters while bending down and picking up her tiny body,

"What..what happened? she asks.

"No time for questions we gotta go to the maples." I reply as I head towards the stairs.
