Peyton Clark

"Hey Chandler" I say

"Haven't see you in a while and who is this little guy" he says

"Chandler I really need to talk to you"

"Um ok when"

"Um do you still have the same phone number"

"Uh yeah just text me I guess"

"I will"

We leave the restaurant and I pull out my phone to call Luna.

"Hey what's up" she says

"I saw him"

"Saw who"

"The father of my child"

"Oh shit I'll meet you at the hotel"

We get the hotel right as Luna pulls in. We go to my room and I give Holden the rest of his food and talk to Luna.

"What happened"

"We went to Wendy's because he was hungry and him and Brianna walked in so I tried to leave without him noticing but didn't work and I told him we need to talk and I'll text him"

"Then text him and tell him to come over now"

"Okay okay"

I pull out my phone and click on his contact. I take a deep breath and stat typing.

Peyton Clark:
Hey you come over now if you are not busy

Chandler Riggs:
Yeah where are you staying?

Peyton Clark:
The hotel on the same street that Wendy's
is on. Room 325 on the 3rd floor

Chandler Riggs:
Okay I'm on my way.

I put my phone down and look over at Holden he's finished eating so I wipe off his hands and face and throw away the food. He sits in my lap and plays some game on my phone while we wait for Chandler to get here. Luna left because I just wanted this to be me Chandler and Holden.

I hear a knock on the door so get get Holden off my lap and answer the door. Chandler is there.

"Hey come in" I say

He slowly steps in and sees our son on the bed and smiles at him. Holden gives him a look I rush over there before Holden says something about Chandler being his dad.

"So what did you want to talk about" Chandler ask

"Um you might want to sit down"

"Why"

"Please Chandler"

He sits on the bed and I sit next to him. Holden climbs into my lap and places his head on my shoulder.

"So what's up"

"I don't know how to say this"

"Peyton just tell me"

I take a deep breath and hold Holden closer to me.

"This boy in my lap he's my son and your son"

He looks shocked for a moment the puts his face in his hands. He runs his hands through his hair the looks at us.

"Why didn't you tell me when you found out"

"We just had broken up and I was scared and the you got together with Brianna and I just couldn't"

"I'm sorry"

"I'm the one who's sorry I keep your son from you for 2 years"

"Yeah but you were scared and I understand that"

We stay silent for a while. Holden has fallen asleep on me by the time Chandler speaks up.

"What's his name. Like full name"

"Holden Caleb Riggs"

"You gave him my last name"

"I knew when I told you, you would want to be in his life and Clark didn't sound right anyways"

He smiles a little and looks at his boy. I see the love in his eye. As soon as he laid his eyes on him.

"When was he born"

"October 4th 2018"

"I didn't know I could love someone so much that I just meet"

"Yeah that's what I was like when he was born"

He looks at Holden and I hand him over to Chandler. Holden snuggles up to him. Chandler looks like he's about to cry. He kisses the top of his head.

"This is crazy" he says

"Your telling me"

"Well looks like we are back in each other's lives"

"Yeah it does"
