Chapter 8- Making Friends (and more?)

"Guys. This is my new sister, Ruby. Ruby H-Well she is now Ruby Fallon, I guess. Ruby. Meet the gang." Landon tries to do a big introduction, but it's really lame right now. I see four boys and four girls then smile when I realise including me there is five girls and including Landon there is five boys. "Justus." A guy offers me a hand and I shake. Then a nerdy looking guy wearing glasses who is smaller than me smiles. "I'm Bradley." Then a guy called Ricky just nodded at me and said his name, and I decided he was grumpy. Then a fit, tall guy came up to me. I was at his neck and had to look up to see his face. "I'm Christian." He smiles politely. I grin. "Ruby. Ruby Haart, or Fallon."
Landon and the boys walk over to the couch and start to plug in which I swear to god is my favourite movie of all time, Beauty And The Beast. From Disney.
A short girl, about 5'04, stands next to me. "I'm Kayla." She sounded happy, but not like crazy physco happy, and she had a nice smile. She had dyed purple hair but it was bright purple, to her waist. Her eyes were hazel and she looked like a generally kind and happy person. "Hi Kayla." I spoke. She just smiled and walked over to the kitchen. She sat down and I saw her look at Landon and smile. "We are Riley and Miley." Two blonde lookalikes chorused. One blonde was a full on you know, and he other one looked like a nerd. "I'm Ricky's boyfriend" Riley giggled. "And I'm dating Bradley." Mikey spoke, seeming to shudder at the word date. I cringed as the two twins walked over to their boyfriends. Then I saw Justus push Landon and Landon then walk over awkwardly to Kayla. "Hey." A piece of bubblegum was blown in my face. I stepped back a little. "I'm Tina." Tina looked and sounded alot like Ricky. "Ricky's twin." She added, with a major roll to her eye. I laughed. She frowned then peeked up s little when she saw Kayla. "Kayla and me are best friends. She is Miss Happy and I'm just like..Tina. But I guess you can be our mate."  She eyed me up and down, than ran off to Justus. Great. The loneliness. I look around. Tina and Justus are hugging. Ricky and Riley are snogging, gross. Bradley and Miley are reading a book with only their shoulders touching. Kaylie remains by Landon's side in the kitchen, and they are laughing about something or other. Christian is coming over here. Look cool, look cool, look cool. "Hey." I grin. He waves his hand. "What you up to, stalker?" He jokes. "Awh, who's the stalker if they know I'm a stalker?" I tease. His face crumbles up as he tries to work out the meaning of my confusing comment. Giving up, he shrugs. "Your weird." He says with a chuckle and walks off to get more popcorn. I jump as the door opens. "Turn that rubbish film down will you!" For some reason I find that voice familiar, but it can't be. It can't.
Landon walks out in front of me. "Long time no see, brother." I hear Landon's voice say. I removed my hands from my eyes and gasp. "What the he'll is she doing here?" My cool, popular ex boyfriend points at me and groans. "She isn't your new girlfriend is she? That just goes against the bro code, mate." Gavin glares at me. I look around to see everyone staring at me and all of us. I gasp and I finally take it in. My ex is now my brother. I dsream and fall into a long black hole of endless darkness.

"Ruby? Ruby, honey your going to be okay." A woman's voice cries out to me. "Ruby...." Many male voices spoke roughly. A baby cried and an eight year old girl roared with pain. Two girls voices, one happy and one grumpy, both repeat "Please be ok...."
I don't know where I am or whom I am with, but a strange voice tells everyone to get out. Only one person at a time, I think they said. Then a familiar voice begged for it to be him. "Please. It's my fault." He sounded very scared and very..concerned. "Ruby..I'm sorry..I hurt you once and now I have hurt you again...I can't believe myself...I love you Ruby..." Water touches my face as a soft kiss gets planted on my cheek.
Slowly, I open my eyes. My bison is blurry.
