MERIDA 🎯

I decided to go to the grocery shop later that morning to get some breakfast goods. Seriously, Moana hasn't purchased any groceries for the kitchen, and I've always been in charge of grocery shopping. I groaned and walked away to my bedroom, closing the cabinet doors behind me. I noticed Cara and Jack are still asleep. I got my towel and entered the bathroom. Better that Jack sleeps, else I'll die if he sees me in my towel.

I bathed in the shower for more than an hour and a half, then turned off the water and walked out. I cleaned myself off with a lovely towel that was hanging on the wall. Then I glanced out to see whether Jack was awake, and he wasn't... I hurriedly exited the bathroom and returned to my room, still wearing my towel.

I got inside my closet and looked for the garments. So I opted to dress simply in a t-shirt and pants. Perhaps short jeans. I put on my clothing and stared in my wide mirror, weirdly overthinking my appearance. Wait. What I do care about is how I seem. Never bothered me before.

When I noticed Cara had moved to the opposite side, almost to the edge, I immediately grabbed her up and repositioned her to the middle, then placed comforters between her to keep her from falling.

I walked from the bedroom to the living room. I took the keys from the table and opened the door, getting ready to go. I walked to the street after leaving my building. I don't have to drive my car because the supermarket store is supposed to be nearby.

I crossed the street as soon as I saw the shop and made my way inside. I took the bread and jams from the area, then the milk that I need. I took a stroll around the aisles.  Then I noticed the muscular twins males in the snack section from last night.

They were the guys that wanted to pursue Jack and Cara. I hastily walked aside, wondering why those buffoons were still around. I'm going to have to warn Jack. I approached the counter to pay for my groceries; the cashier scanned the items and placed them in plastic bags; I paid her with cash. I glanced down the snack aisle; they hadn't spotted me yet, which is a good thing. The cashier accepted it and then handed me the change. I hurriedly collected my bags and exited the store. After two blocks passed, I almost home.

"Oi, you!"

I froze and turned around to face the tall man who had an eye patch on his left eye from the night before. The second man, his twin, appeared from behind him. This eye patched man is just too creepy yet strong since he has tattoos on his arm, ear piercings, and two earrings on his forehead. He looked just like his twin, except he didn't have the eye patch or the piercings. This foolish idiots have the red hair make them even more unattractive. They were nothing like the hot twins from Teen Wolf.

"Where do you think you are going? Remember us?" The eye patched asked with his sinister smile as he walked closer to me.

"No, I don't," I said, quickly walking away but he managed to stop me as he was already in front of me.

"Don't tell me lies, little girl. We only met yesterday night. So, where precisely is Jackson Peter Frost? He has the small child with him," As he approached me, he inquired. I took a step back and noticed the officer parole was not far from us, passing through behind this filthy man. I had an idea.

"Help! he wants to kidnap me!" I shouted out loud, letting the officer hear me.

The twins shocked, the officer has already coming towards us almost quickly. They turned around and already running away. "Oi, don't run away!" The officer yelled at the tall guys. Then, he looked at me, fixing his hat, "Are you okay, miss?" He asked me.

I nodded, "Yes. Can you catch those guy? They were dangerous," I stated.

"No worries. I'll get my partner to settle this, let me assist you to your home," He told me. "It's not safe if they were coming back to you,"

"Thank you so much,"

I hurriedly shut and locked the door for some reason in case the twins discovered where I lived. I went into the kitchen and set my belongings on the table. "Jack! Get up! You must get ready!" I yelled as I dashed into the bedroom. Cara, who was already awake, was just laying there, toying with her feet and staring at me with the brightest blue eyes she could muster.

I assumed she had Jack's eyes because her mother had green eyes. Cara's eyes are really stunning with the most beautiful natural brown light haired which it was very rare for the newborns. It's really bad he and his...'daughter' are going. I wanted to see how she would grown into a beautiful woman someday. broke out of my reverie and walked over to Jack, who was still sleeping.

I wish he has enough time to spend time with me here.  I mean he and his new daughter got to spend time with me like forever. Oh. 'We will have a family together'. Ergh. Weird. It was cringe as it sounded. I was not ready for any kind of family type of responsibilities.

I was kneeling beside him, prepared to rouse him awake. But then I looked at him; Jack was sound sleeping on this mattress. His chest rose and sank gently, his lips locked shut as I heard him snore lightly.

As he gripped the comforter, his unruly white hair rested neatly on his head. The blanket slid off the mattress. After caring for Cara all night, he was exhausted. She was always brawling in the middle of the night, which Jack has taken care of. He's done well taking care of his child in such a short period of time. Me? No.  Even though I have three wicked young brothers, I'm not very adept at taking care of them.

Hmm-- anyway. I couldn't stop myself staring at his soft pale skin that looked beautiful in the dim light. Jack, in general, is a good looking boy. If he only thought of himself the same way...

Bringing him into my previous flat was not anything I regretted. I saw him living in the alley previously, and on that day, the bullies from the alley severely battered him. It was, in essence, a deadly area for an adolescent lad.

When my fingertips delicately touched his skin, he opened his eyes. My face was pale as I scooted away from him. He blinked his eyes twice, three times, and then it hit him. He moaned as he stretched his arms. He opened his eyes wide to see I was next to where he was laid. "Why are you so close?" He asked.

Look at his raspy morning voice! It's alluring. Eh. Shut up. Wait. Did he heard me?! Please better be not.

I gulped, "Uh--you w-were drooling when you s-sleep. At the corner of your mouth," I bluffed, standing up.

"No, I didn't," Jack scowled as he tried to wipe the corner of his lips with the back of his hand that he had just wiped.

Don't panic. Don't panic.

"Uh-my mistakes. Anyway, you need to get ready before they met you. I just saw them at the store," I changed the subject.

"Did they see you?" his eyes widened. I gave a nod. He sprang up from the mattress as quickly as he could. Then he glanced at Cara and picked her up, saying, "I'll get Cara ready."

"I'll prepare the breakfast," I said, leaving the bedroom. What embarrassing moment.
