ELSA ❄️

I paid the taxi driver with cash from my purse and took my belongings from the driver cab before he could try to flirt with me again. I stomped away from him towards the door, my hands full of belongings. He was such a pervert all the way here, and my ears can't take it anymore. If only I have the driver license, I wouldn't have bother myself to use public transportation. My phone was buzzing in my handbag. My hands are already stuffed with shopping bags and the suitcase.

I rolled my eyes and I moved the heavy bags to my other hand and picked out my phone. It was Anna calling me. I huffed as I pressed to answer the call, "Anna, I am already at the bus station, okay?"

"Well, you canceled your flight for fifth times, Elsie. Not to mention, same goes with the train. So, I'm just asking if you really there and besides, grandma has been asked about you," I heard Anna laughed from the background.

"It's actually fourth times. You don't have to worry, I can do this time. No more mistakes," I said proudly.

"Okay, sis. I have a faith on you! I miss you already. Can't wait for you to come back home!" She exclaimed.

I grinned, "Me too. Hey, I bought something from New York for you and little Felix also grandma,"

"Really?"

"I'm sorry, but I have to leave. Later, I'll call you back "I stated this, and she said goodbye, so I did. My hands were already sore from carrying these items. With my large luggage, I had a lot of shopping bags. Well, I got something for them anyhow. I'm an aunt! I couldn't wait to see them again.

Previously, I should have been in Nashville four days ago, but my tickets were cancelled due to inclement weather, and my train ticket was cancelled since I missed it. Now I'm attempting to ride the bus. Hopefully, it will be safer than airplanes. When I heard the Nashville announcement, I dashed through the gate to my bus depot.

When I walked through the crowds, my feet were trying to keep up. There were so many people surrounding me! They gave me a lot of anxiety. I continued walking, pulling my baggage and lugging my shopping bags while I peered at the plate number on the bus as it passed past each platform. Nothing corresponds to my ticket, or was I too early? But it's already 9:09 a.m., and I need to get going.

"Ahhh!" I bumped with someone when I slipped in my heels and was ready to collapse to the floor, but the person I collided with held me by the waist, and my belongings fell to the floor.

"I'm sorry I didn't notice you." The masculine voice apologised to me, his grasp on my body uncomfortably shaking. I swiftly released go of his bulging biceps in order to glance up... A attractive boy who had me in his grip. He appears like he's in his late teens and has a deeper voice than his youthful appearance.

My mouth dropped open as I gazed shamelessly at him, astounded by his appearance; he appeared youthful to be in his early twenties, younger than me albeit he was taller than me, perhaps 5'9 or 5'11?

His appearance is ridiculously gorgeous. His hair is lighter than mine under that hoodie, and he appears to be thin, yet he has the most stunning cerulean eyes. He donned an enormous worn green jacket rather than his blue hoodie, but he looked so cute in it. He's honestly good enough to be a model, or might he be one of them?

Should I be grateful that he the one caught me from falling?

Wait. What the hell is wrong with me? praising this kid's looks? I do not behave like this. Is he a kid? maybe? yeah?

The boy grinned shyly when I stared him that long. "I see you are alright,"

He picked up my things on the floor and handed them to me.

"Ugh-N-next time, see where you're going," I frowned as I walked away from him. I cringed at the way I spoke to him when I should have thanked him for saving me from falling. To be honest, I have to unintentionally behave cranky around people whether or not this person is attractive.

I glanced back to the boy, he just disappeared from the crowds. Strange.

"Get out of the way!" I heard someone shouting and frightening others away, so I did as well. I pushed the swarm of people out of the way by looking up the two men with identical faces. What is the matter with those people? I dismissed the ruckus and just kept searching until... I spotted my bus! Yeah!

As I approached the bus, I shrugged my belongings in my hands. The bus driver assisted me in loading my baggage and shopping bags into the compartment. Then I joined the crowds waiting to board the bus. Fortunately, there were just three persons remained near the door.

As I walked down the aisle, I noticed that every seat was packed. I sighed, seeking for my seat, and saw two rows at the back with only one seat and two seats on my left aisle. Before I sat down, I placed my essential shopping bags on the luggage overhead racks.

When I looked to my left, there saw a young female with red curly hair and a small child in her arms. Her daughter was in sobs. She kept glancing towards the entryway, concerned. She caressed her daughter on the back. Perhaps she was anticipating her husband's arrival.

I groaned and leaned against my seat, pulling my phone from my handbag to text Anna. I grinned to myself as I snapped a photo of myself on the seat. After one capture, I texted, 'I'm on the bus, we'll meet again shortly tomorrow,' and then hit the send button.

When I looked up, I noticed the skinny boy I had run into earlier step aboard the bus, taking off his hood and revealing his unkempt white silver hair. When I saw him, my heart started racing like crazy. He doesn't seem to notice me. He travels to Nashville, too, doesn't he? Is he fleeing his parents or something? Well, think well of him; perhaps he was a college student as well.

Then I glanced as he approached the lady with red curly hair. She entrusted her daughter to him. As she wailed into his shoulder, he shushed the girl down, and she instantly stopped weeping. They spoke something to me that I can't hear.

The lady curly red hair kissed her daughter's hair, hugging the boy as she was saying to the boy, "Take care," and she left the bus.

The boy sat down with the little girl in his arm, and he placed her next him. It can't be that boy's child, I thought. Why had that woman abandoned her kid to him? Is he a married man? If he's married, why did the redhead leave the child with him? What if they abducted the little girl?!

Stop thinking negatively! Why am I continually concerned with other people lives? Forget about it.

After few minutes, I saw the driver climbed into the driver seat and closed the door behind him. Then it took two minutes until the bus was moving again.

I sighed, looking at the outside of the window. Bye-bye, Brooklyn! I glanced beside me when I heard the little girl called the boy, 'Da-da'? Maybe the boy is her father...or his name was'Da-Da'? (0_o)
