Pitch Black hasn't reported anything to me since he returned from the last site. When Pitch is one of the greatest assassins I have, it was unusual that Jackson escaped his grip. The kid has the gut. Pitch asked the men to pick up the half-dead brothers and transport them to the normal lab, where they sliced the organs and sold them on the black market because they were half-alive which good for the business. That's what I planned to do to Jackson once I had him in my grasp. My burner phone rang, and I saw a number that I hadn't saved in my contacts. This number was only known to the folks that worked with me.

I knew it was Pitch contacting me right away. He'd better bring me some good news. "Did you locate him, Pitch?" I inquired, a little impatiently.

"Yes, I was on my way to get him," Pitch said. "I need a new partner because the twins didn't do me any favours by letting Jackson to escape,"

I groaned, Jackson had gotten away in the end. I'll give Pitch time to catch the kids since my reputation is still on the line because the other leaders realised they couldn't mess with me when they learned about the twins. I had a feeling Jackson was headed to Nashville. I'm not sure why the reason is. Maybe there's something important going on there. "I'll find you a guy. Make sure you tracked him right way, or else I'll chop yours as well."

"I understand," Pitch said as he hung up the phone. I turned to face Drago, who was standing across from me, waiting for my order.

"Get Pitch the sociopath one," I ordered, "If Pitch doesn't get me the boy and his child in two weeks, he's dead." I stated forcefully, and he nodded to comply with my request. My strategy will be so flawless that the boy will be powerless to stop me.

JACK⛄

This is absurd. They were really the nicest people on the planet when they prepared us food, provided us with clothes, and provided us with a place to sleep. It was only that I'm not sure whether I was able to take any more advantage of their generosity. Well, let's hope that was just one night. The supper didn't go so well since the oldest brother, Bunnymund, appears dissatisfied with me. Yes, the name is even odder, as it doesn't fit with his grumpy demeanour.

Bunny didn't think I was Cara's father. He believes that I am too young to be a father to my children. I heard him quarrel with his father over our presence here. I see why Bunny didn't want us here. I didn't mind at all.

Besides, he was willing to offer me his spare clothes, so I couldn't argue with him. Although, I knew very much that was because his sister forced him to. His clothing were far too large for me. I'm to blame since I'm a skinny person.

His sister is genuine—-overly friendly. When she attempted to check out my teeth earlier, it was a little unsettling. I don't blame her much because North informed me she's studying dentistry.

Whatever.

Sandy, his younger brother, was mute but kind, and I believed I was the only one who believed Sandy was the normal one in the family despite his sister's intriguing, then the older brother's grumpy behaviour. After dinner, I assisted him in cleaning up the table at their dining room. North informed me that he couldn't talk since he was born. I feel sorry about Sandy.

Toothiana was doing the dishes in the kitchen. Elsa was probably in the same room as Cara. When I finished my job, I looked over to see Sandy sweeping the floor. With a smile on his face, he gazed at me. I returned his smile.

"At long last!" Toothiana exclaimed as she walked out of the kitchen, turning out the light. "Are you going to sleep, Jack?" Toothiana inquired.

I nodded my head, "Perhaps. Thanks for dinner. We truly enjoyed it," I confessed it.
