Prom

(A week later and everyone is getting ready for college. Basically moving into their dorm rooms. Everyone has their outfits for their prom tonight. )

Nicki's POV:

I had only a few things to pack up more before I really got registered into my room. I have no idea who my roommate is but hopefully it's someone who I like and I can get along with. And they can't be nasty or I'm done. But tonight I'm not going to worry about college after I finish this last box. Tonight is prom and I can't wait to show up with Wayne looking nice. But mostly go see Mrs. Loving one last time and give her all my love and gratefulness for all her help.

"Baby you ready to go get the outfits?" Wayne asked me.

"Uh, yeah. Just give me a minute" I said.

"Okay, I'll be in the car" he said walking out. I taped my last box together and grabbed my purse leaving. I got in the passengers seat and he started driving to the place we bought our outfits at.

"You excited?" I asked.

"Yeah, you?"

"Yes, I can't wait to see you in your tuxedo" I said gushing. He smiled.

"I can't wait to see you in your dress. You'll be the most beautiful girl there" he said. I blushed looking away.

When we got there we both got out the car going in together.

"Hello" I said walking in.

"Hello Nicki" said Sandra. "Come for your dress?" She asked.

"Yes" I answered. She went into the back to get it. A few minutes she came out and our outfits were in two different fancy dressy suit bags. I smiled as she handed it to me.

"Enjoy your prom tonight" she said.

"Thank you" me and Wayne said walking out. We put it on each side of the back seats hangers, then got in the front.

"You hungry?" He asked starting the car.

"Yeah" I answered. "But I don't want to stop and eat somewhere"

"Okay, what do you want to stop and get?" He asked.

"Let's go to Taco Bell" I said.

He drove to Taco Bell getting me and him whatever we wanted then we went back to the house. I sat on the couch with him eating. After that he grabbed me and I laid down with him.

"I'm never letting you go." He said.

"Good because I like it better this way" I said. We just started laughing.

"So prom tonight and Graduation tomorrow. How you feeling?" He asked.

"I'm still upset I didn't get valid Victorian but hopefully I will get prom queen out of me and the others" I said. "But I'm fine. You?"

"Prom king ain't nun for me. I know I will win best looking" he said. I laughed.

"Yeah sure Wayne"

"Oh is that funny to you Onika?" He said tickling me alittle. I laughed.

"Baby no!" I said moving his hands off me.

"Mhm, that's what I thought" he said.

"Whatever" I said back. A few minutes later I started dozing off for a nap.

(3 Hours Later)

Wayne's POV:

I woke up and started getting ready for the prom. Plus I had to meet the guys for the limo.
