Third P.O.V
The whole team was in the infirmary watching Lance and Peter inside their cryo pods within the Sleep Chamber as the team watched, except for Coran who was at the console to check on their progress. Both Lance and Peter looked like they were still in the process of healing.

"I can't tell if they look healthy... or not," Hunk murmured.

"I think Lance's breathing weird," Pidge commented his face pushing up against the cryo-pods glass.

"Oh, come on!" Keith impatiently said, trying to tap on the pod.

"Not yet! A few more ticks." Allura said, swatting his finger away.

"How much better do you think they're gonna get in a few more ticks?" Keith asked Allura, crossing his arms.

"And what exactly is a tick?" Pidge asked, raising a brow.

"You know, a time slice," Allura replied with a slight smile.

"What, like a second?" Shiro asked as the four of them looked over at Shiro. Shiro had his arms crossed.

"What is a... 'second'?" Allura asked, furrowing her brows.

"Like this," Pidge said, pulling some sort of stopwatch out of his pocket. Allura crouched to get a better look at the stopwatch and the clock started counting seconds to show Allura. Pidge smiled at the Altean Princess.

"I'm not sure. I think ticks are bigger." Allura commented, looking at the stopwatch. "Coran, do you have a ticker?"

Coran turned around from the console. "Right here, Princess," Coran said, pulling out their own version of a stopwatch or a ticker, showing only four points.

"I think ticks are a little slower," Hunk said, looking at the ticker.

"I can't tell. We have to start them at the same time." Pidge said, looking at the stopwatch in her hand. Allura walked over to Coran, Pidge, and Hunk.

"Okay. Ready, go!" Coran shouted. Coran and Pidge both started the ticker and stopwatch. The ticker and stopwatch both started beeping. Everyone huddled around and watched.

"Yes! I think we're winning." Hunk said with excitement in his voice.

"Winning what?" Keith asked, Hunk. "The intergalactic time-measuring competition?"

Unbeknownst to the team, the cryo-pod opened and Lance exited the pod and stumbled over.

"Yes," Hunk said, looking at Keith and then back to the contest.

Lance was behind the group, still looking sleepy. "You guys having a clock party?" Lance asked, catching everyone's attention.

"Aw, Lance, you just ruined it," Hunk said, kind of annoyed. "Hey, Lance!" He hugged Lance.

Lance grunted from the sheer strength of Hunk's hug.

"What happened?" Lance asked.

Hunk let him go but, Lance had an arm around his shoulder.

Allura came up and put a hand on Lance's back. "We can tell you all about it while you get something to eat. Are you able to walk?" She asked Lance.

"Talking? Eating?" He said. "Are you asking me out on a date?" Lance said, smirking.

Allura's eyes widened slightly. Hunk and Allura both sighed, and Allura crossed her arms.
