Rebirth

Third P.O.V
"Oh, no!" Pidge shouted, looking at the coffin-shaped pod with the unknown monster inside. "Please tell me there's not a giant monster in there. Please tell me it's empty! Or full of space candy. One of those two. Either one is fine." Hunk said, begging for no monsters inside the pod. "I don't think it's a piñata, Hunk." Lance replied, in a serious voice. Hunk had a slight frown on his face. "If it's the same kind of the monster that attacked us on Arus, we already know how to beat it." Keith said, informing the team as he puts his bayard into the control console in his lion forming the sword and Pidge forms the shield. "Hold your ground!" Shiro shouted. The pod opened revealing a robeast and the Robeast fires a laser at Voltron but, blocks it with its shield, the laser is so powerful that it pushes Voltron back.

"It's not candy!" Hunk yelled.
"And it's not the same monster!" Lance replied, shouting. Voltron pushes the shield away and "spins" out of the way. "We need to draw its fire away from the Balmera's surface!" Shiro yelled as the blue and yellow lions used the "jetpacks" on the back of the legs to fly closer to the robeast. (idk what to call the things or jetpacks on the legs...but i'll just go with this...) the robeast jumped in the air and shot a laser from its chest at Voltron, Voltron blocked it with the shield. All of the paladins groaned from the impact of the laser. Voltron went back a little and jumped out of the way. Voltron and the Robeast were a couple of inches off the ground, floating and circling each other. The Robeast fired a laser at Voltron but, Voltron flew away from the laser. Voltron got close to the Robeast ready to strike the Robeast with its sword but, the Robeast escaped/dodged and flew to the other side of the fight between them (idk) The Robeast turned its head and shot a laser out of its eye, hitting Voltron in the side of the torso knocking Voltron down on its heals of Voltron's feet and then jumped back up with the help of the jetpack on the back of the blue and yellow lion. The Robeast shot another laser at Voltron but, dodged it, flying, away from the Robeast.

The Robeast is chasing (floating) after Voltron and shoots another laser at Voltron, Voltron blocks the laser with the shield. "We can't hold out!" Lance shouted to the other paladins. "My lion's weakening! If the shield sustains structural damage, we're done for!" Pidge shouted. "Pidge is right!" Keith yelled, agreeing with Pidge. "Oh, Pidge is right. I'm the one that said, "We can't hold out!" Lance shouted, arguing with Keith. Keith's eyes widened slightly. "Lance, watch your footing!" Keith shouted. Voltron tripped over a little rock hill or a little hill, making Voltron crash down on the ground of the Balmera, the shield became two, the paladins groaned in pain.

"Okay, Team Voltron, disband!" Shiro said, to the paladins as they disband and became individual lions. "Everyone, evasive maneuvers! It can't shoot us all at once!" He said as the Robeast opened its arms making ten lasers on each side shoot at the lions. "Okay, it can do that too."

In the sky, the castle shot a laser at the Robeast making the clouds (or smoke) disappear. The Robeast shot a laser out of its eye aiming at the castle causing Allura, Coran, and Mattisen all groan and the alarms start blaring. "Where does Zarkon get these beasts from? And how do they keep finding us?" Allura questioned. "Princess, the particle barrier won't sustain much longer. It's still not at full strength after the blast from the Galra ship." Coran informed Allura.

"Keith, try to draw its fire! I'm coming in from above!" Shiro shouted to Keith. "Roger!" Keith replied, flying to the Robeast his firepower/lasers at the Robeast. Getting the Robeast attention and it started to shoot at the red lion, the black lion was above the Robeast ready to attack, the black lion came flying down towards the Robeast ready to fire a laser beam at the beast but, the Robeast shot a laser from its eye heading towards the black lion. Shiro pulled back and dodged the attack. "We need to find its blind spot!" Keith shouted, dodging attacks from the Robeast. "I don't think this thing has a blind spot. It has a thousand eyes." Pidge said, sounding a little sarcastic to Keith. "Laser eyes. Laser eyes!" Hunk screamed as a laser was shot at what looked like a Galra mining rig (maybe) as it crashed down onto the Balmera. "What do we do? Fighting this thing is like fighting an entire fleet at once!" Pidge yelled, dodging all of the attacks from the Robeast. "I think we've got to aim for those laser eyes and take them out." Keith replied.
"We'll cover you from up here!" Allura yelled to the paladins. The castle began to shoot at the Robeast from the back, making it turn around and shoot at the castle. Alarms start beeping wildly. "We've lost the spectral generator! Coran shouted, then a beep went off. "Going to reserve!" Coran began typing on the holographic computer then, another beep went off. "There's a fire in VIN bay three!" Coran shouted, grabbing his hair, looking like he was about to freakout. Another beep went off. "Suppressors on! Suppressors out!" He said, looking at the holographic computer again, his facial expression looked like he was actually going to panic. "Princess, the ship is being torn apart!" Coran panicked, looking back at Allura.
