It's been two days since Baekhyun was tied up to a chair. His eyes were too swollen to open up so he relayed heavily upon his other senses. There was a leaking pipe somewhere in the corner of the room, meaning he was in a basement. A cold breeze would occasionally caress his sweaty, bloody mess of a body, meaning there was a small window somewhere. The sound of the loose hinged door meant someone was coming down to beat him up again.

And after every session, the blood from his busted gums and the blood trickling from his nose would moisten his throat. His ribs hurt when he breathed so he settled for shallow breathing. There were deep gashes on his wrists and ankles from the tightly tied ropes. Figures, those goddamn bastards were only scared so they were extra careful.

After two days of agony and suffering, the man behind the show finally decided to show up. "Tchk tchk tchk! What have you gotten yourself into, son." The voice was deep and gruff. "Trust me, I take no pleasure in seeing you like this."

Baekhyun painstakingly opened one of his eyes. His vision was blurred. "Why did you make me do all this?" Father asked, concerned for his boy, as he knelt down infront of him. He pushed the boy's sweaty hair back with a gloved hand and lifted his chin carefully, "So, are you coming back or not?"

Baekhyun managed to turn his face around to spit out the blood, "Never."

"He's being saying the same thing since we brought him here." said the man who'd been batting up Baekhyun.

"That's the spirit! That's the Byun Baekhyun I know. You've never did learn to give up, right?" Father ruffled his hair and stood up. "That's enough of play time. Bring him to the house. There's someone I want him to meet."

Taehyung had been searching for Baekhyun since the day he left but he couldn't find a trace of him.

And then his worst nightmare became real.

The bald, hefty man grabbed Taehyung's throat and pushed him against a wall. He felt as if his skull cracked from the impact. The man's grip on his neck was tightening by the passage of every second. He was struggling to breathe now.

Choi Hyung Tae's man pulled out a picture of a girl walking home from school and Taehyung's eyes widened, "MIRA!"

The attacker smirked and let go of the weak lad, he immediately fell to the ground, gasping, coughing. "Get the money in 24 hours or this b*tch dies.*

Jeon Yong Guk was sitting in his lavish office, looking out of the window hopelessly. When was the last time he cared for someone besides himself? He couldn't remember. "Oh! What great despair has fallen upon me." he said, his voice full of self-hatred and helplessness. He was in a strange territory.

A knock on the door pulled him out of his reveries. It was one of his body guards. "A Mr. Kim Tae Hyung is here to see you, sir."

The brunette boy looked frail standing across the huge desk. He was fidgeting with his long sleeves. The sun light smeared across his pale skin and Yong Guk couldn't help but notice the blue-purple fingermarks on his neck. It was as if someone attempted to choke him to death.

A feeling of concern took over Yong Guk and without thinking he rose up from his seat and poured himself a drink. He was now leaning against the desk with a drink in his hand, stripping the boy naked with his eyes. "To be honest, I wasn't expecting you so early." He said politely. "So? What is it? Be my driver or-"

"Pay per trip, you said." Taehyung reminded him bluntly.

Yong Guk smirked. "If that's how you want it."

His phone goes off. He cringe at the name displaying at the screen. "Yong Guk! Come down home soon, someone very special has come to see you." His Father's voice was dripping with excitement. "Me?" Yong Guk asked uninterestingly. The line was already dead.

Taehyung watched as the man before him puts his phone away dejectedly and walk past him, "Take me home."

As soon as Yong Guk approached his car along with Taehyung, the driver opened the door for them. "You're fired." The tyrant boss said as he got inside.

The driver suddenly turned pale; for he knew what he meant. He looked at his boss helplessly. One signal from Yong Guk and one of his men and blew the driver's brain out, shaking up the brunette.

Taehyung glanced in the rear view mirror and saw Yong Guk's men dragging the dead body away from the scene to dispose. "He knew too much." The man in the back seat justified his brutal decision.

What have I gotten myself into, the brunette thought apprehensively.
