The Holloween was drawing near and everyone were busy decorating the vintage castle. To Harry's delight, Snape seems to completely forgot about his essay punishment and many of their classes were usually ended earlier because everyone were all excited.

Harry unfolded a parchment which came from his mother.

'Harry,
I'm sorry for not sending letters for these past few weeks, your father's kept on insisting to talk to me again and settle everything. I know you don't have interest about this and I don't know why I even telling it to you... But, I really need your advice. Please go home on Christmas.

Love,
Lily'

With a snort, Harry crumpled the paper and threw it away. He fixes his hair with his fingers and marched towards the great hall to meet Theo and Blaise.

Hermione gets out of her hiding spot and picked up the crumpled paper from the floor, she slid it inside her bag and simply walks away.

"Hey Granger, wait," Draco chased after her as they both sat on one of the bench beside the corridor.

"Oh, hey Malfoy, I'm about to go in the Room of Requirement now," she said with a genuine smile. Hermione never expected in her whole existence that she will ever befriend with one of the person she loathed the most.

She's still not giving her full trust to Draco but she can't just resist the peaceful place he had showed her last week; The Room of Requirement which they both agreed to make it a private library exclusively for them. Every book she need or want were there, she just have to think of the title and whoala, it will appear in the shelf.

"I'm planning to self study too," Draco said as they began climbing up to seventh floor. They faced the massive wall and think deeply about the perfect library; picturing it in each other's mind.

After a minute, a wooded door appeared before them and even opened by itself. They entered inside and settled on an L-Shaped white couch.

Draco Accio-ed a thick book of Advance Potion Making while Hermione just opened her notes to do her assignments.

"You're absent last week in D.A.D.A, you missed Potter's mini show off," Draco opened the topic which instantly stopped Hermione from scribbling on her parchment.

"Er, I woke up late since we'd studied until 2 am before that day, remember?," Hermione asked nervously, hoping the he will just eat her lies.

"But I think I saw you with him," Draco stared at her eyes, Hermione tried her best not to look anxious. "Or maybe I'm just imagining you," he ended with a smirk.

Hermione's cheeks flashed pink as she gazed back on her paper, relief filling her heart.

"Hey..." Draco moved a little bit closer to her but still maintaining enough space between them.

"Yeah?" Hermione lifted her face and stared at Draco's eyes.

"In behalf of Harry, Theo and Blaise... I want to say sorry for everything we did," his lips curled up for a sincere smile like he's been dying to tell it to Hermione for the past weeks.

"Honestly, I still can't believe that I'm here with you today... It's like last month we're humiliating each other and now look at us, we're studying together and even found a secret hide out," Hermione chuckled as her eyes roamed around the place before looking back at him.

"Me too, geez... If ever my parents find out about this, they will surely transfer me to Durmstrang right away," Draco said in a matter-of-factly tone.

Hermione's gaze fell on to her lap, she bit her lower lip before speaking again. "I- I did a background check before... Harry's mother is a Muggleborn right?"
