Days passed amazingly fast in Hogwarts, students who were going home for Christmas already began packing their things. Hermione however, was assigned to list the names of students who are going to stay in the castle.

"Hermione? Are you sure you're going with him?" Draco who was sitting next to her suddenly asked.

"Yes, I'd think of it about a hundred times already and my decision is final. I want to meet his mother," she answered with a smile.

"Okay, it's your choice. Just take care of yourself, if you need something just send me a letter," Draco reminded her.

"Awe, look who's my best friend now," she giggled.

"Best friend... Yeah, that maybe better," Draco faked a laugh.

Hermione put down her quill and turn to face him, "I promise you that I will make your best friend come back with you, after this holiday, his life's gonna change and your friendship will be reunited again,"

Draco doubt it more than anything else, either way, he just nodded and squeezed her hand softly.

"Oh my god it's nearly eleven!" Hermione bolted up from her seat and grab her beaded handbag.

"Where's your friends? Aren't you going to share a compartment with them?" the two marched towards the nearest carriage that will bring them to the station.

"Nope, I haven't told them. My parents will surely ask the Weasleys about me and I just can't tell Ron and Ginny that I have to stay with their mortal enemy's house," Hermione explained.

"Okay, just don't forget to send me a letter of his address. Harry has many place to go and some of which are still unknown to me," Draco said with a pure concern in his tone.

"You speak like he's going to murder me at the best opportunity he'll get. He's not capable of doing that, is he?" Hermione curiously asked with furrowed eyebrows.

Draco's gaze suddenly shifted on the window. "I don't know. Come on, we're here." he opened the door and hopped outside, he helped Hermione and they jogged towards the back door at the end of the train.

"Here, take it." Draco removed his Slytherin scarf and hand it to her.

"Thanks," she smiled timidly.
Draco pushed open the compartment next to him, he stoppped abruptly upon seeing the only person inside.

"Finally you came," Harry greeted with a yawn.

"Let's find another one," Draco was about to pull Hermione when a rather strong force drag her inside the compartment.

"Hey!"

"Ouch!"

The door immediately sealed shut, leaving Draco outside.

"What the hell?!" Hermione howled as she pull herself away from him.

Harry burst in laughter while the witch before him was throwing him a deathly glare. "What's so funny?"

"So, you're his girlfriend now?" Harry asked, almost choking with his own words.

"Maybe, but that's none of your business I guess," she replied sternly before leaning her back against the leather seat. It amazed her how his face suddenly went dark and intimidating.

Harry took a deep breath as he moves closer to her, she move backwards but her back already hit the corner of the seat. She was cornered and her knees starting to weaken. Harry's smile completely faded, there was nothing but silence and Hermione can perfectly hear how her heart bangs against its cage.
