"Do you have anything for men?" I ask the young lady behind the counter.

I was at the mall with Jack and Seth, helping Seth buy a suit for his first date with Daniel. They were really cute and enjoyed themselves together. I said I had to look for something and Jack told me to take my time. Little did he know I was buying our engagement ring.

We have been dating for about 6 years now. We adopted Seth when he was 8 and now he's 13. It's basically common law but I still wanted to have a big wedding. I love him. And he deserves to have a big wedding.

"Um. Are you looking for anything in particular?"

"Something... Cute. Maybe one gold and the other silver." I say rubbing my neck from my lack of knowledge.

"Okay. I'll help you over here." She says walking over to a glass box. "Any of these good?"

I look at the rings. They were very pretty but as soon as I spotted the two rings with a Tetris pattern I had to buy them.

"These ones." I say pointing to them.

"Good choice." She says taking them out.

She walks over to the cash register and scans the rings. I pull out my wallet.

"That'll be $256. 78 please." She says smiling.

"Debit." I say before tapping the card on the mechine.

The fimiliar sounding of it being accepted sounded and she handed me a box with the ring in it. I thank the girl for her service and walk around the mall with the ring in my back pocket, not wanting Jack to see it.

I meet up with Jack and Seth in the food court. They were eating subway. I sit down with them and play on my phone.

"So... did you get a suit?" I ask looking up slightly.

"Yeah. I look great in it!" Seth says in a bragging tone.

"Yup. Plus it was only $75." Jack says finishing his sandwich.

"That's good. What color is it?"

"A nice shade of pink and black. It looks very charming." Jack says smiling.

Without warning I peck him on the lips while smiling, not giving him time to respond. I pull back and realize Seth had no clue what happened. Jack's face was beat red. He smiles largely and laughs softly

"Okay. I think it's time Seth got going to Daniels." Jack says slightly flustered.

"But... I'm suppose to be there by 5:00 it's only 12:00." Seth says finishing his sandwich.

"You can be a little early." Jack says standing up.

I agree and Seth calls Daniel, seeing if was okay if he came over early. Luckily it was okay so we dropped him off with his stuff.

"So... Why did you wanna drop Seth off early?" I ask while driving.

"Mark... I think you know why." He says placing his hand on my leg.

My face turns crimson as I jump slightly. I look at him nervously. I feel myself getting hard.

"How much longer until we're home, Daddy~" He whispers into my ear.

Could my face go any more red. Probably not. Don't show anything. Can't show weakness. Ugh.

"Uh... I minute or so. Just be patient." I say smiling.

"No. I want it now!" He whines smiling.

"Don't be a brat, Jack. In a minute." I say pulling into the drive way.
