Chapter 4

I go back to editing when Ian comes in,

"Y/N, can you edit the latest seriously super stupid sleepover" I hear him say behind me.

I turn around and nod to him grabbing the SD card from him, I put up the videos forgetting that both Shayne and Keith would be in the video, This was going to be a long day.

After about an hour of editing I had enough and realised I was actually starving.

"Wes, wanna go grab some lunch?" He looks up, taking his headphones off. "Sure" he answers and smiles at me like a grown teddy bear.

We go back to the cafe I was at earlier that morning and we both grab a cheese toastie and hit chocolate, of course Wes adds the extra whipped cream and sprinkles.

"Hopefully it's not like the hot cocoa pong" He says referencing to the mossy winter games, I giggle taking a sip of my hopefully not too hot, hot chocolate.

"What's new?" Wes asks and I take the moment in, looking around an smiling. Wes was honestly my best friend.

"Um?" I say considering telling him about Keith, it would be a good idea because the gossip would go around the office and hopefully land on Shayne and I wouldn't have to tell him myself.

"Well I'm kinda seeing someone" I confess, and regret it immediately I can't believe I'm pretty much lying to Wes right now, he looks up and has this expression of pure shock.

"I always though you and Shayne would end up together" He admits and the beat of my heart Rapids when I don't say anything he continues, "Now you two both have partners" and it was like my heart came to a stop and someone ripped it out of my chest.

"You may or may not know him" I admit getting myself together, making Wes get more curious and excited. "Who,Who,who" he repeats like a little kid. My heart feels like it will pump out of my chest and I'm surprised he couldn't hear it.

I wipe my palms on my jeans and look up to see his eager face and say "Keith"
