Chapter 31

Wes helps me plan out the editing of my first vlog and we just catch up on what had happened in the past 24 hours, it was as if nothing had happened. We finish talking about the video obviously agreeing to leave the recording of Shayne and I kissing out and I decide to tweet out a hint of the new channel which many guessed right and were excited about.

This just complimented my happiness already and with that I decided to go and find Shayne to tell him the good news. This was actually harder than I thought as the time goes on and I still hadn't found him. Finally, I decide to look outside, I grab my coat putting it over my long sleeve shirt as it was getting dark and much colder.

To my surprise I see Shayne near the campfire on his phone, I grab some firewood going to start the fire so we both don't freeze. "Hey, you" I say enthusiastic starting the fire up "Hey" he murmurs, and I sit down next to him "What are you doing out here? It's freezing" I ask, and he shrugs "Thinking" he replies, and I smile at him "thinking about what?".

"You" he says, and I get butterflies, "Oh really?" I hum, and he frowns, this can't be good "What?" I ask concerned "maybe Wes is right" he says and my heart sinks "You deserve someone better" he says and I'm shocked.

"We we're both confused about our feelings but now we're not, right?" I get out and he sigh "I don't know" he says, and I can feel my eyes start to sting. "I can't be with you knowing all the things I put you through" he says, and I start to tear up getting angry "you always do this?" I snap and walk back to my room.

I burst through the door and luckily Wes isn't there and I slump onto my bed, face down on the pillow and burst out in tears. This really sucked.

I don't remember falling asleep, but I'm quickly woken up by Wes walking in and calling my name "Ughh" I groan, and he comes over noticing the tear stains "were you crying?" he asks, and I burst out in tears again "Maybe" I lie which causes both of us to laugh which honestly kind of helped.

"What happened?" he asks, and I sigh "Shayne" I say, and he looks surprised "Again?" he asks, and I nod my head "I guess he finally paid attention to what you were trying to prove" I say getting angry at the thought of Shayne.

"He decided to now?" he says in disbelief "God Y/N maybe I was right he's let you down again" he says, and I frown "I'm starting to believe you" I say, and he starts to rub my back for comfort.

"Well what exactly did he say" Wes asks and I breath out remembering what had happened "Just that I deserve better because of what he did to me" I say, and Wes stays quiet as I grab my stitch pillow playing with the pillow pet's ears.

"I can't believe I'm going to say this" Wes gets out breaking the silence "But why don't you show him he deserves you" He says, and I look at him confused, how was I meant to do that. "You mean make him jealous again" I ask, and he chuckles "Oh god no, that didn't work out the first time did it?" he jokes, and I giggle.

"Just show him how much fun you two have together on this trip" he says and I smile at the idea, I mean every time Shayne and I had a moment it was because we were enjoying each other's company.

"What if that doesn't work?" I ask getting concerned, "Well do something cheesy at the end of the trip to blow his mind away" he says, and I start to think of ideas to do and I guess Wes does the same as he starts randomly blurting out date ideas "A picnic, no too cold" he says as I get the best idea ever.

"A pillow fort in the filming room" I say and his face lights up "Yes and we can light candles all around the room", "and fairy lights" I cut him off, grabbing my laptop I search up best comedies on Netflix and decide that Shayne should choose, especially since he was the funny one.
