Chapter 22

I say goodbye to my mum, dad and my younger sister before grabbing my bag and heading onto the plane. I had to admit this break from the drama was much needed, I look around thinking about how much I was going to miss Seattle but I was excited to see Wes again we texted pretty much everyday for the whole 5 months.

I sit down in my seat luckily it was a window seat and look outside waiting for the plane to take off. I pull out my phone using the connection I still had to message Wes who responded saying he was on his way to pick me up. I start to smile of course I missed everyone even Shayne, thankfully over these 5 months I pretty much lost all feelings for him and was happy he was with Ally I mean I guess he does truly love her.

After the flight has landed I get out and try to find Wes, of course he gets lost and we spend about 30 minutes trying to find each other. What if Shayne was lost and he actually tried to stop you from going? I start to think and then push that thought away, there's no use in imagining what would of happened when what really happened was he chose Ally over me and didn't show up.

I finally see Wes who pulls me into a hug, how much I missed him and his hugs. He starts to tear up "calm down you baby" I joke and he laughs "I missed you so much" he says and I agree. "Are you excited to see the others" he asks, "of course I am and you know even Shayne" I say and he pretends to gasp "does that mean no more feelings?" And I nod so he continues "even after?" And I slap him "I don't want to talk about it I'm happy for them" I say and he nods I know he doesn't believe me.

We go back to his car this time not getting lost and drive to the office i decide I'll see them first and then go back home. We arrive and I start to feel nervous "don't be nervous they all missed you" Wes says reading my mind. I give him a smile and he puts his thumbs up "you'll do great" he jokes and I smile feeling better about it.

Wes and I walk in and everyone jumps out welcoming me back, I'm ambushed with so many hugs and presents. Everyone tells me how much they missed me especially Mari who didn't have her team mate in Maricraft.

I'm talking to Keith and Wes who are pretty much giving me the gossip about Shayne that I missed while I was gone. About a month into my break Keith and I announced our break up and said we'd be better as friends. The fans took it surprisingly well. Still people used that as a sign that Shayne and I were meant to be if only they knew.

I'm about to talk when I feel someone tap me and hear "can I talk to you" I turn around to see Shayne I smile and nod before he's taking me onto the set where we shared one of our many kisses. I blush from the thought of it and try to stop I didn't like Shayne anymore, I didn't like Shayne anymore I repeat in my head.

"Oh by the way congratulations" I tell him and he looks confused until he realises "oh yeah, that" he says "so you two are engaged wow" I get out and he kinda sighs "I just wanna say I don't want it to be awkward between us anymore I miss you" and I smile mostly because he said he missed me "exactly what I want" I say and he smiles "well welcome back" he cheers pulling me into a hug and we walk back into the room talking as if nothing ever happened.

Everyone is filming and the office space was pretty much empty as I unpacked all my stuff and put them back on my desk, "you need a ride home?" I hear Shayne say from behind me "you're not gonna kiss me again are you?" I ask and then gasp I didn't mean to say that out loud. Shayne looks horrified "sorry I didn't mean to" I explain and he starts laughing and I join in laughing "I thought it was too early for us to joke about the kiss" he says and I correct him "kisses" before we walk off to his car.

I sit there in silence for a few minutes as usual when Shayne turns up the radio putting on a Hannah Montana song and lip syncing to it, obviously I burst out laughing as he continues to look like an idiot. When I point out to the old lady next to us at the stop light who was giving him the weirdest looks and he turns around to face her giving her a wave and blowing a kiss to her.

That causes the woman to blush and speed off as the green light appears which causes us to both start laughing "I think you have an admirer" I say and he chuckles "think I should cancel the wedding" he jokes and I turn to him "well do you think Helen is the one?" I say and he doesn't laugh. "What's wrong?" I ask him as he starts to frown.

"What if she's not the one?" He asks "Helen?" I ask and he giggles a little "no Ally" he confesses and I shrug "then don't marry her" I say and he sighs "I'm just so confused" he tells me "why'd you ask then" I ask him and he shrugs "she was kinda pushing me to ask her and she told her best friend about how excited she was for her birthday because she had a feeling I would propose" he admits "well did you want to propose" I say feeling sad for him.

"Not really" he sighs and I smile "why don't you come over to mine for tonight, a little ice cream and Netflix helps clear the mind" he turns to me and smiles "that's actually a good idea" he says "I know I came up with it" I boast and he laughs at me.

We head inside and Shayne goes over to the couch lying down on it "make yourself at home" I say and he laughs "I will" I walk over to where Theodore is Wes must've dropped him off this morning as a surprise. As Shayne puts the Television on I turn to Theodore "that's Shayne the one I was talking about isn't he gorgeous" I whisper and Theo doesn't move.

I look In the fridge to see nothing, Oh right I haven't been here for 5 months. I look at a grocery bag with a note on it 'You probably forgot to go buy dinner so here's some snacks- Wes' I smile and look in there grabbing some popcorn out "Change Of plans looks like we're having some popcorn" I yell and Shayne looks back cheering.

I sit down next to Shayne putting the bowl in between us and after about 30 seconds of sitting down I get back up to go grab some water for the both of us when my phone starts to ring "Can you Decline The call thanks" I ask Shayne so it doesn't bother anymore of the movie when I hear the phone shut up and then "why is Liam calling you" Shayne asks confused.
