Chapter 29

I get into the van as Shayne grabs something out of the boot. He finally gets in the van holding a small camera "here, use this for your channel" he tells me, and I smile at him "Really?" I say surprised "Yeah of course, no ones going to be using it I just keep it in here as a spare" He admits, and I giggle while looking at the camera, turning it on.

"Hey everyone, I decided to start my own channel and what better video to start with then a behind the scenes vlog of Smosh Winter games" I say, with Shayne and I impersonating the 'Smosh Winter games' like the intro in the main videos. We both laugh after it, surprised the other one did the same thing.

"Thank Shayne for the brilliant idea of this channel and this video" I continue on as I point the camera at him and he waves, "So what are we about to do, Shayne?" I ask, and he laughs "Well we're about to leave the Camp site because someone wanted to bake a few things for someone" he says, and I giggle "Hey I was hungry" I joke and end the first part off with "I guess we'll see you guys when were at the store".

I put the camera down and start to put my seatbelt on as Shayne starts the van. "You shine when a camera is on you, you know that" Shayne confesses to me "Not really I get so nervous when we film for the main channel" I admit.

"yeah I know It can be scary at first" he says and I nod my head "Yeah it's so easier to be myself when it's just me and you" I admit and he smiles "I like that you're comfortable around me" he says and I laugh before saying "Well how couldn't I be when I've had your tongue down my throat" which makes both of us laugh.

"I like that we can joke about us now, it's so nice" he tells me, and I agree "Didn't know there was an us?" I shrug, and he chuckles "You know what I mean and aren't you the one going on dates with other guys" he says referring back to the whole Aaron situation.

"Oh" I get out, remembering that night "yeah actually what's up with you and Aaron?" he asks before saying "Spill the tea" and I cringe "I was going to tell you but now I don't know after that" I say and he laughs "Come on you can tell me anything" he admits and I smile "Will you get jealous this time?" I ask, and he rolls his eyes at me.

We pull into the store's parking lot and I grab the camera before we head out. "So why did you argue with Wes?" Shayne asks "Oh it doesn't really matter" I lie, I didn't want to make Shayne upset by telling him, he was the reason we were arguing.

"It was about me, wasn't it" he assumes and looks down, "Well yeah kinda" I get out and he sighs and looks over at me "Yeah it was" I finally admit, and he sighs once again. "Don't worry about it" I reassure him, "you're a great guy, Wes is just looking after me" I say, and he smiles at me "You can look after yourself" he shrugs obviously getting annoyed.

"I know, I told him that" I admit "Oh look the baking section" I say as I point to an aisle, changing the subject "So what do you want?" Shayne asks me as I pull out the camera. "so now were deciding what to bake" I look at the camera and then to Shayne "I was thinking cookies" I say, and he shakes his head "Bake a cake, then more people can have a slice" he says and I pout.

"I think they would appreciate cookies more" I admit, and he shrugs "Why not get both" he says grabbing a triple chocolate cake box and some chocolate chip cookie dough rolls. "Sounds good" I agree and put my thumbs up to the camera. We go and find some of the equipment we would need for the baking while cracking jokes at the camera and awkwardly filming us paying for the items.

We head back to the car as it start's getting dark, "I kind of forgot about the camp fire if I'm being honest" I admit as we get in the car and he nods "How are we meant to bake these without Wes seeing?" Shayne asks.

That was a good idea, we couldn't both not be at the camp fire and bake it would irritate Wes more. "We could bake it while everyone is asleep" I shrug and he laughs "How romantic" he gets out and I smack him "this is for Wes not you okay" I say "What a weird first date" he jokes and I roll my eyes at him.

I film a little car karaoke we had and then we were quickly back at the cabins, we pull up to the rest of the group who were huddled around the camp fire which had started while Shayne and I were out. I look over to see Wes and decide with or without a cake I still need to apologise to him "Hey Wes" I say as I head over to him, he looks sad.

"Hey" he says being polite "I'm really sorry about before I was just tired" I confess, and he shrugs "Yeah alright" he says before joining David and Mari. Ouch that hurt. I walk over to the rest of the group and try to ignore how bad this trip has already been, I decide to pull out my camera and vlog a little.

After telling the audience about the bonfire and the surprise for Wes, everyone was ready to sleep as we had to get up early to film. I head to my room and awkwardly pretend to get ready for bed as Wes does. I finally start to hear him snore and text Shayne 'meet in Kitchen in 5', I grab my coat and slippers before tiptoeing out the room and into the other cabin.

To my surprise Shayne is already there. I set up my new vlog camera as Shayne sets up the equipment I start to whisper to the camera "So everyone is asleep" and Shayne laughs causing me to turn around "What?" I ask clueless "Were in a completely different cabin, no one can hear us" he reminds me and I facepalm.

"Well anyway, Shayne and I decided this was the best time to start baking" I say as Shayne turns on a Bluetooth radio "This isn't going to be a tutorial more of a dance montage" he says and starts dancing which causes me to burst out laughing "I'm going to get copyrighted" I say and he shrugs "your problem".

We finally start making the foods, starting with the cookies, I decide to open the packet of cake mix, spilling half of it out of the mixing bowl. "Great job" Shayne says sarcastically so I throw some sprinkles we bought at him. He fake gasps as he throws some flour back at me and before we know it were having a food fight.

He grabs my hand pulling me closer to him as an Ed Sheeran song plays in the background, I look down as our eyes gaze at each other, making me uncomfortable. Shayne lifts my head up and kisses me. My stomach does flips like all the other times we had kissed, that was until I feel something hit my head and runny slime drips down the side of my face. I look up to Shayne hysterically laughing with an egg shell in his hands.
