On tuesday the following week, Bonnie and Zion sat in the Gomez Phones' waiting area right outside Gomez's office, waiting for him to finish an interview.

Their meeting was supposed to start an hour ago, but it seemed to be a busy day for the Gomez employees and employers. Zion and Bonnie weren't the only ones waiting, which made both of them feel slightly more comfortable around each other.

But it sure as hell was uncomfortable when Bonnie let her eyes roam around the room and she would occasionally catch the eye of another person that was not finished ogling her yet. She couldn't blame them. She too read the newspapers yesterday and saw that horrid picture of herself laughing, looking like Zion and her were really close.

River Tech and Dawsey Enterprises, or Bonnie Stewart and Zion Dawsey? It seems like the two CEO's of the biggest companies in Silverthorne discussed more than just business at the annual charity event at Lord Asher's residence.

Thats what one of the many head titles of those gossip magazines and newspapers. She read most of them, only to sigh in relief. They only had theories and speculations. No proof, except those pictures of her laughing. Bonnie shook her head, wanting to let go of those thoughts.

Those people can go and mind their own business. She's not about to give them any confirmation. In fact, she's successfully ignored the man sitting a few seats away from her.

Good thing he chose to sit far away from her when he came in. At first she felt slightly insulted but when she realized people were expecting them to sit together, just waiting for another aspect that would enhance the truth of their theory. So she was actually glad he avoided her.

But she was sure that, just like in her case, he felt awkward around her anyways. The two have not been talking ever since the event three days ago. Why would they? None of them had anything to say to each other.

She still felt awkward though. And no matter how much she wanted to deny it, the make out session at the event was still running through her mind. Why did she kiss him back? She knew she was on her period. There was no way she was going to have sex with him. So why did she?

"Mister and Misses Dawsey." She suddenly heard. Wait what? She saw Zion stand up with a deep frown before he walked over towards the receptionist. The poor man gulped audibly after comprehending Zion's muffled words.

"Miss Stewart." The receptionist called her over and she blushed before coming to stand next to Zion. She smelled his cologne, which for a second fogged her mind. But she internally shook her head and looked back to raise an eyebrow at the receptionist.

"It says here that I was supposed to call Mister and Misses Dawsey. But Mister Dawsey told me you were supposed to get into the office with him and Mister Gomez. Can you confirm that?" The man asked her.

"Yes." Bonnie was still confused and embarrassed.
"Okay, I will have to call Mister Gomez and check real quick." With that, the man picked up the phone and told the man on the other line what was happening.

Bonnie couldn't believe it. There she was, overthinking the whole magazine and newspaper situation, not wanting people in that room to think the rumours about her and Zion were true. And now the receptionist called her right after he called Mister Dawsey and a certain misses. How fucking great.

"Damned Gomez. I'll bet you that's his revenge for us taking sixty percent." Zion hissed, glaring down at the woman next to him. She blinked twice.
"Why are you glaring at me? I didn't have anything to do with that." She scoffed.

"Oh please. You could've taken twenty-five percent. For all I know, he would've probably given me even more if you weren't a party." He growled lowly. Bonnie glared back at him.

"He asked me to be a party. Besides, you really don't know me well if you think I'd be happy with less percent than you." She snapped, making Zion chuckle.
"Of course. You want everything from me, I forgot. Tell me again, why you're so keen on ruining my life." He scowled at Bonnie.

"Uh, you can both go in now. The boss told me he made a mistake." The receptionist piped in, probably sensing the upcoming argument. Zion clenched his jaw upon hearing his words and stepped around Bonnie in order to get into the office.

Everybody jumped when he slammed the door shut.
"Are you alright, miss?" Bonnie suddenly heard and looked at the receptionist again with a forced smile.

"Yes, thank you." She simply said before squaring her shoulders and taking a shaky breath. With that, she walked into the office, closing the door more gently and quietly than Zion.

Here goes nothing, she thought as she entered a room full of angry yelling already.

.

"I can't believe he wants your designs and my technical shit." Zion growled after both left the building. Together, because everybody who was waiting already saw them walk into Gomez's office together. Bonnie hoped they would realize that Zion and her only had a professional relationship.

"Excuse me?" She asked, feeling insulted. She didn't expect him to love her designs or compliment her, but that was just rude.
"What? I'm known for my designs, for fuck's sake." He shook his head in disbelief.

"Well, my designs are different. Maybe he just wants something different." She tried to reason.
"You're saying my designs are boring? You know what-"

"Oh stop complaining, Zion. You still get thirty percent, so what's the big deal?" She groaned.
"You don't understand. Leave me alone." He growled at her before turning around and taking long strides down the busy sidewalk.

Bonnie rolled her eyes in annoyance. Arrogant, grumpy, rude, mean, annoying, conceited, stupid genius man!

Author's note: Opinions on Bonnie's overthinking? Should she just calm down and ignore the gossip about her and Zion?
