"You! You hacked into my computers!" She yelled, rounding the desk to stand over him. Zion didn't like that, so he stood up as well. Now towering over her.

"That's a rather big accusation. Do you have any proof?" He asked her, his arms still crossed.
"I know it was you. And I swear to God, I will call the police." She fished out her phone.

"And tell them what?" Zion asked, knowing she had nothing on him. He was no rookie.
"That you hacked into my system." She scoffed.
"Okay, only that there's no evidence." He said.

"But go ahead, call them and explain yourself. But do leave my office in the process." Zion said, sitting back down and ignoring her as he looked over his schedule for the rest of the day. Bonnie scoffed and shoved her phone back into her purse.

"You will pay for that." She warned him.
"Was that a threat? You do know threatening is illegal." Zion teased her.

"So is blackmailing and you're already a victim of that, aren't you." She reminded him, surprising herself. Did she really just say that? Zion clenched his jaw and glared up at her.

"Leave my office right now." He growled, standing up again. Bonnie gulped inaudibly and raised her chin high. But Zion was fast to grab it and pull her face towards his.

"And remember that this blackmailing thing you're doing will soon be over, trust me. I'm getting bored with you already. If you didn't take so fucking long to get pregnant and if it weren't for you blackmailing me, I would've already left you. Any man would." He snapped.

"Let me go." She sneered at him, seemingly indifferent about his words. Zion clenched his jaw one last time before letting her go. Bonnie turned around with a huff and walked towards his door.

"You know, maybe your inability to get pregnant is a sign. You're not meant to be a mother." He shouted after her, causing Bonnie to stop and close her eyes. His other words could've not prepared her for those. Those words truly hurt.

Especially when they come from someone who knows how hard she was trying. But she took a deep breath and took the last steps towards his door, without looking back.

"And your inability to love might also be a sign, Ebony. You're not meant to be loved. Not even your own flesh and blood will. Not even the bastard you will call your child is going to love you." That did it.

Bonnie just fastened her pace and finally left his office, slamming his office door shut. A tear escaped her eye. And then another. And another. She needed to get out of there. Away from the monster behind the door. Away from everybody.

"Miss Stewart, is everything alright?" She heard Michael's worried voice ask. All she did was nod as she passed his desk and walked into the elevator.

Zion opened his office door to watch her leave. Was she really not fazed by anything he said? Did this woman even have a heart? He watched her step into the elevator. Only when the doors started closing, did she turn around. Then he saw it.

Her wet cheeks. His heart skipped a beat. He did want her to think about his words, but he never expected her to cry. He frowned slightly and gulped. Then the doors finally closed and he felt able to breathe again.

When his P.A., Michael came into view, Zion cleared his throat and quickly made up a reason for his sudden appearance outside.

"Michael, I was looking for you. Where have you been? How come Miss Stewart had access to my office without any difficulties?"

The young man gulped and then sighed inwardly. His boss was angry and he once again, served as the scapegoat.
