On Friday, Bonnie found herself in a little dilemma.

Her mind was full of ideas for the new design. Ever since she left Gomez's office, she wrote down many ideas and drew some drafts from scratch. But there was always something missing because in the end, she would crumble up the paper and throw it somewhere on the ground in her office or in her living room at home.

"What to do. What to do..." Bonnie said out loud as she looked at the blank paper on her coffee table. She should be getting ready by now, because the dinner was in two hours. But she just couldn't get away. Not until she knew what she wanted.

So again, Bonnie lifted her pencil and started drawing a phone. She finished the basics and took a deep breath, ready to continue when her doorbell rung. She jumped in surprise. Who the heck could that be?

"Ugh." Bonnie groaned before standing up and quickly walking to her front door. When she looked through the peephole, her body and mind froze for a second.

There, in a black leather jacket and hands shoved into his pockets, stood Zion. He looked around, seemingly impatient as he clenched his jaw before lifting his hand to knock on the door this time. Oh God.

Bonnie couldn't believe it when she suddenly started fidgeting with herself and ran a hand through her mess of a hair. But she didn't have enough time to analyse her abruptly weird behaviour as he knocked again. She finally opened.

"What are you doing here?" She hissed, making Zion frown.
"Why the fuck aren't you ready yet? Or is this how you're going to the dinner?" He asked bewildered.

"No. I was busy." She reasoned, blushing in embarrassment.
"Well, let me in." Zion said after a few seconds of silence. Bonnie scowled at his demand and held up a hand to stop him.

"You still haven't answered my question. Why are you here?" She asked him once again.
"I'm picking you up, duh." He said as he crossed his arms over his chest. Bonnie's breath hitched.

"And why exactly would you do such thing?" She asked him, finally stepping aside to let him through. She figured her questions should be asked in private. Plus, living in an apartment complex means spying neighbours. They're everywhere.

"And how the heck do you even know where I live?" She asked him after he stepped into the hallway. Then she closed the door and lead him into her living room.

"I have my sources. Plus, Maddox wants us to drive together. Go figure why." Zion told here as he followed her into the living room. He saw a paper on the coffee table and frowned when he saw her ordinary draft of a phone.

"That's what you've been working on?" He asked her, rather unimpressed. Bonnie caught his tone and looked back to glare at him. Then she snatched the paper from the table and crumbled it in her hands. She threw it in the trash and then went to stand in front of him.

"Well, I guess I have no chance then. But we still have two hours. Why so early?" She asked Zion, who decided to sit down on her couch. He looked too tall for this place, it was almost comical.

"Two hours? Make that one hour, Ebony. Do you not have a clock or a watch in here?" He raised an eyebrow at her. Bonnie rolled her eyes. He'll never call you Bonnie, just give up, she thought. But then his words registered in her mind and her eyes widened.

"One hour?!" She asked before taking out her phone and seeing he was right. How could she get lost in drawing like that?
"And we need to get going in fifteen minutes if you don't want to be late." Zion finished.

"Oh God." Bonnie panicked. Fifteen minutes was not enough. She still had to shower.
"But fifteen-"
"Don't argue with me, get ready." Zion growled, making Bonnie scowl at him.

But he was right. So she quickly ran into her bedroom and locked the door. She walked into her attached bathroom and took a quick shower. Her hair would have to wait for another day, she thought as she put on her underwear. Then she stopped.

Shit, her dress was in the living room. She couldn't hang it in her wardrobe, because it was too full. And so she hung it on the door between living room and kitchen. She silently cursed before finishing her make up.

Bonnie was surprised she only needed ten minutes for her natural look. Normally even that would take her hours. Maybe luck was on her side tonight. But then she heard a knock on her bedroom door.

"Hurry up, we need to leave." Zion's voice boomed through the small apartment. Bonnie rolled her eyes before nearing the door.
"Wait in the car then." She said.

"Don't tell me what to do." He growled back. Bonnie scoffed. He seemed awfully rude this evening. Even more than usually. But she wasn't intimidated by Zion, never has been so why start now.

"Wait in the car. My dress is in the living room." She explained.
"So?" Came his question behind the still closed door.
"Well, I need to get it and you don't need to see me running around half naked." She snapped.

"I've seen you completely naked before. Just fucking get ready." He said.
"Then leave." Bonnie repeated.
"Fine!" Zion finally gave in and she listened to his retrieving footsteps.

She waited until she heard the front door open and close again before she unlocked her door and ran towards her dress. She pulled it on but needed Zion to zip her up. So she quickly finished everything else she needed to finish before slipping into her shoes and getting her clutch.

She locked the front door after stepping out and finally walked towards Zion's car.
