I jump onto my bed. Face down. Overwhelmed about the day. Work, brothers faught, sister cried, homeworks confusing.

I take my clothes of and shower. The water, warm. I step off the shower and put my clothes on, go to bed, and sleep.

*-*

I didn't bother to bring my car since I only use it for work days or if I want to. The school is just a couple blocks from my house anyways. Maybe 8-10 minutes.

I put my earbuds on and set it up on my playlists of Twenty One Pilots songs-which reminds me of Joshua Done, the new guy. I have to tell Rittiny about him. (Rittiny loves Josh Dun.)

After maybe 5 or so minutes of walking, a car parks by the sidewalk.

"Hey," the car owner says. "You need a ride?"

"Yeah, sure." I answer and go to the passender seat. "Have you heard about the new guy?"

"Who?" Rittiny, the car owner asks. "Kyle? Tom?"

"No, Josh."

"No, why?"

'His full name: Joshua Done. D-o-n-e. Done."

"Oh my gosh!  Hashtag Jebby for life," she fangirls. Jebby is Josh Dun, the Twenty One Pilots drummer, and Debby Ryan, shipped.

"Yeah, he's with me 8th period." Rittiny parks her car and we walk together to the locker room where we change.

Dr. Pelat, our coach, prepares us for our first game in a couple in weeks.

"I'll determine the starters next week so if you wanna be really part of the game, you have to work hard! Captains have to work harder, so if you wanna be captain, I WANNA SEE YOU SHOOT HOOPS AND BE INVOLVED!" He emphasizes his last words. I really don't want a losing streak again, like last year. Our team needs to get their lay-ups working right.

After basketball, Rittiny and I walk to French, like usual.

"Hey, wanna go to the basketball court at the park at lunch?" I ask Rittiny.

"Yeah, sure," she answers.

"We really need to get the ball into the whole." I say, purposely, in a perverted manner. Rittiny shoots me a perverted look and I do the same to her, then we laugh.

Tom walks in and sits to his assigned seat next to me.

"Hey, ladies," Tom looks at us.

"Hi, Tom," Rittiny responds. I respond with a nod and a smile.

"Take a seat." And life proceded in the same manner that it has always did.

I went to 2nd period, then 3rd, where it was Mrs. Misheli's birthday, who treated us with cupcakes after class. I took one of the mini cupcakes.

I go to my locker to get my water bottle. I gobble the whole cupcake at once and then drink water. I immediately go to the bathroom to change and take my basketball to the park.

"Hey," I wave my hand to Rittiny, who got there before me. I pass the ball to her and she took a practice shot.

"Ball is life," she announces after shooting the ball and getting it in.

"Wait, can I try something?" And Rittiny passes the ball to me. I go to the free throw line and try to shoot the ball but, like nearly every single time, I missed.

"Oh. My. Gosh," I say to myself, my teeth clenched. I toss the ball back to her and we play a one on one game.

I shot. Three point line.
