Everyone looked like themselves, but in a zombie version. It was beyond creepy. Everyone was roaming around moaning like weirdos. There were cobwebs everywhere. Everyone’s eyes looked purple and black. Maddie and the others scrambled back out of the school, and stood there stunned. Zombies. How? In about fifteen minutes, the entire school had turned in to zombies!

“We have to find Emily.” Kayla said breaking the silence. Maddie, and Ethan nodded, and looked through the window.

“How are we gonna get past them?” Ethan asked. Then Maddie made their weapons, and hunting clothes appear once more and smirked.

“Got it.” Ethan said. With their weapons drawn, they slowly walked into the school. They managed to get through the first hall, when Maddie stopped.

“I can sense Emily.” Maddie said. “This way.” Ethan and Kayla followed as Maddie slowly walked forward towards the Art Room.

“She’s in there?” Kayla asked.

“If my senses are correct.” Maddie answered hoping that she was going in the right direction. Then shooting a couple zombies, Maddie ran into the Kiln Room with Ethan and Kayla following. Maddie opened the Kiln, and found Emily inside.

“Emily!” Ethan cried as him and Maddie helped her out. Emily stood there wide eyed, and put her hands on Maddie’s shoulders.

“Pearl. Pearl. Pearl.” Emily said in a weird tone.

“What does she mean?” Kayla asked.

“Pearl. Pearl. Pearl.” Emily said again. Gently taking Emily’s hands off Maddie’s shoulders, she sighed.

“She’s in shock.” Maddie answered.

“Pearl. Pearl. PEARL!” Emily shouted. A couple zombies turned towards the Kiln Room. Ethan cupped his hand over Emily’s mouth and walked backwards. Maddie stood against the wall, and aimed with Kayla beside her.

“Pearl. Pearl. Pearl.” Emily said as her voice muffled from behind Ethan’s hand.

“Ethan! Keep her quiet!” Kayla whispered.

“I’m trying!” Ethan whispered back. He took his hand off Emily’s mouth, and raised his finger to his lips.

“Shh.” He said hoping that it would keep Emily quiet.

“Pearl. Pearl. Pearl.” Emily whispered. Then Maddie and Kayla shot the zombies, and looked for others.

“How are we supposed to go around this school unseen with her around?” Kayla said walking back into the Kiln Room with Maddie behind her. Maddie stared into Emily’s dumbfounded eyes.

“Maybe she’s trying to tell us something.” Maddie said.

“What would a pearl have anything to do with this?” Ethan asked.

“I don’t know.” Kayla said. Emily gasped.

“PEARL!” She shouted.

“Shh! Quiet!” Ethan said.

“Wait!” Maddie said looking outside the Kiln Room. “He’s coming!” They four backed into the corner. With Emily still going insane. Then, the spirit himself entered the room. He was covered in armor with spikes all over, and his eyes were red and black.

“Don’t hide.” The demon said slyly stopping the others from backing into the corner. “There’s nowhere to hide.” Then Maddie gasped.

“Joey.”
