I didn't know what to feel. Sad? Unsure? Happy? He never said anything to me, only that one sentence as I was leaving. I lay in bed all night thinking about it. Whether or not I should have just went up and talked to him instead of being a complete idiot.

As I got ready for another day of school, I thought about calling the day off. But, I had to many things due to skip today. Carly was still in the bathroom, so I just started to get ready on my side of the room. When it was around eight thirty, we left and went to our first class.

Most of our classes were the same, thankfully, there was only one that we didn't have together and that was our 2 hour extra credit courses. They were 'fun' courses, but it was a different class every week. You do different challenges and almost everyone on campus is involved in it. By the end of the year, everyone pretty much knew everyone from all of the new class members. It was a really great way to get all the new freshman involved. The reason they were extra was because you obviously don't have to take it if you don't want too. It just gives you an opportunity to get scholarships and more credits.

As I walked up to my new class mates for this week, I realized that Drake friend,Andrew , was in my class. I gave him an icy glare before going over to a girl who seemed pretty nice. "Hey, I'm Sophia."

She smiled and stuck out her hand, "Hi, I'm Angel."

I shook her hand and we got into a conversation about both of our majors, hers being Engineering. I was never into mechanical stuff, let alone be acquainted with a person who was, but there is always a first for everything, right?

The coach came out to the ffield we were all waiting on and stood in front of us. He wore a stern expression as he examined all of the students.

"Andrew, you're team captain," he called.

Andrew, went up to stand beside the coach. The coach looked around some more and then his eyes landed on me. I gulped and just prayed that his eyes would skim over but that was not the case.

"Sophia, you're team captain for the girls."

I walked up and stood by him nervously, glaring at Andrew as I did so. He is goin' down.

The coach announced that we'll be playing dodge ball. No hitting in the face but every other body part was legal.

"If you hit anyone in the face you will be disqualified. Thats the only rule so everybody, line up!"

The girls went to the opposite side of the court and I had them huddle in a small circle with me.

"Okay girls we need a plan, who's the strongest thrower?" I asked.

"I did softball all four years of highschool and in track I threw too," Angel said.

I nodded and another girl had said she was pretty strong as well. "You two will be our main throwers okay? Now who doesnt mind getting hit and going out?"

Three girls raised their hands and I smiled, "Okay, when the guys look like they're about to go for one of them, you make them hit you instead."

They all nodded and I looked at the two girls left. "You two and me will pick up the balls and give them to the throwers on our team, okay? Everybody try to have a ball at all times."

Everyone nodded and we got into our positions.

The coach blew his whistle and out attention went to him, "On three!"

"One, two, THREE!"

Everyone raced to the middle of the court and grabbed as many balls as possible. I grabbed two and used them to block the first throw. I smiled in victory as I looked at a defeated Andrew.
