I sighed as Gemma and I headed to St Thomas. It had been a week ago since I had last seen Tara, and it just happened to be the first.

"I'm sorry honey that Jax couldn't come with for this." Gemma gave me a small smile.

"It's okay, I'm disappointed but I understand entirely. Club business is important and I don't want him getting killed on me. Anyway, I've got you here with me, which is just as good." I give Gemma a grin. You could say in the last few weeks I've grown closer to her. She had been so much help to me, and acted as my mother and best friend. Well she was another mother to me.

"Aw thank you, sweetheart." Gemma leaned over and kissed my forehead. "Now let's you inside before we miss your appointment."

"Yeah okay." I reply grabbing my handbag and putting on my sunglasses. Was it strange to say with this sunglasses, handbags and boots was I becoming similar to Gemma? No I would say we were completely different with the same good dress style.

Hopping out of the car I looked back at the rest of the carpark, I felt as though someone was watching me. Gemma sensed how I looked uncomfortable and looked around. She then grabbed my hand and quickly walked me through the front doors. It was freezing cold in the hospital, it felt as though I was in a freezer.

"What's wrong?" Gemma turns me to face her.

"I don't know, I feel like somebody is watching us. But I couldn't see anybody." I reply looking around cautiously.

"Let's keep our eye out for anything suspicious, but in the mean time let's get you checked out." Gemma states pulling me towards the front desk.

I shake off the feeling and do as Gemma said.

"How can I help you ma'am?" The woman with blonde highlights and blue eyes grinned.

"We're here for an ultrasound." Gemma simply replies.

"Oh yes, just go to the third floor and there should be a desk to the right." The woman behind the desk giggles. Whoever the woman was, she seemed quite friendly and nice, nothing seemed odd about her.

"Uh thanks." Gemma replies giving half a smirk.

Gemma and I begin to walk away and towards the elevator. For some reason I was expecting a whole flight of stairs to go up. But luckily there was the elevator.

"What's wrong honey, do you still feel off?" Gemma asks as we step into the elevator and the doors shut.

"I was expecting a whole load of stairs. And the feeling is still there but not as strong." I reply.

"They wouldn't be that nasty, climbing a flight of stairs while pregnant is a bitch. Believe me. Anyway don't worry I'm here with you." Gemma nods her head. I was glad I had Gemma, she was someone I felt I could trust. And I was proud that she would be my mother-in-law.

"Thanks and oh I can imagine. You're practically walking up the stairs dragging another weight with you." I reply with a small giggle.

Before long we reached the third floor and made our way to the desk that was situated right where the woman told us.

"Hi I'm Cassandra Redwin, welcome to the pregnancy department how may I help you?" The woman says boredly. I could see she didn't like having to say that.

"Glad I don't have to say that." Gemma chuckles.

"It's shit. I mean who wouldn't know what this department is? It's filled with baby items, photos and pregnant women. But anyway I'm getting paid extra to say it. So what can I do you for?" She smiles.
