"I suggest you watch you and your boy-toys back." Cheek whispered one last time before shoving me back and pushing pass me. His shoulder slamming hard against mine, adding to my shock even more so.

I turned around to watch Cheek strut away and walk over to Axl who happened to be talking to Bobby. My thoughts were racing through my head, like it was going through hundred of files all at once. But once it stopped, I felt myself go into shock. Especially on after suggestive thoughts rushed through.

I was frozen in my stance, staring a hole into his back. My breathing had momentarily came to a halt and I couldn't peel my eyes from him. I was like a computer, having a glitch. I was that out of it, I didn't even see Jax stand directly in front of me, blocking my vision from Cheek.

"Ethel!" Jax shook my shoulder gently, waking me up from my small panic.

I stared at Jax, unable to hide the emotions going through me. Opening my mouth to speak, I shook my head and quickly rushed away from Jax. I couldn't deal with the amount of thoughts going through my head, as much as I wanted to play it cool, I was struggling.

Leaping towards the first esky I spotted, I opened it up and dug out a can of coke. I needed a drink, something to take my mind from everything speeding around.

Carrying the coke over to the set up table, I sat down and opened it, taking a sip.

How the fuck did Cheek know about it all? My family didn't have clue, so how did he? And the fact that he practically threatened Jax and I, not that Jax was aware.

Glancing over towards the barbeque, I noticed Jeffrey standing there with a pair of tongs in hand. He was talking to Happy whilst he turned the bits of bacon over, his free hand holding onto a stubby of beer. The scent of bacon sure was slowly starting to spread around the yard, catching some attentions of the men.

Trust Jeffrey to be the man of the barbeque, even here in a town he's not familiar with, at another person's house he didn't really know and even over another club. He didn't seem to care though, nor did anybody else. That was Jeffrey's throne, he absolutely loved it. Whatever he could cook, he loved cooking it on the barbie. Whether that was barramunid, steak, sausages a.k.a snags, prawns, pancakes, bacon and eggs, you name it, he would at least attempt cooking it on there.

I just hoped he had asked before taking over the barbeque. Because considering this was officially the first time the two clubs had associated in any kind of way, I would like to think he would ask before doing something. Neither of the club's needed trouble with one or the other.

"I see your brother likes to cook on the grill." Gemma snuck up on me, startling me. I almost threw my can of coke across the table. I was on edge, it was visible, even to Gemma.

"Yeah he does, he did ask first, right?" I questioned, letting go of my can and resting my shaking hands in my lap.

"Don't worry he did, he seems to enjoy it. You sure look out for them all." Gemma noted taking a seat down beside me.

"Someone has to do it." I looked down at my hands, they were still shaking, even against my lap.

"Ethel, are you alright?" Gemma asked, resting her hand upon my shoulder.

I snapped my head up and turned to face her. Gemma looked genuinely concerned, clearly noticing he jumpy I was and how my hands shook.

"Amazing." I answered, too fast.

"Sweetheart." Gemma sighed. "Don't bullshit me, I know something is bothering you. You're shaking like a leaf."

I bit my lip and tore my eyes from her, scanning over the entire backyard, I met Cheek's gaze from a distance. My stomach knotted up, not in a good way, it was a sickening feeling.
