Several weeks had passed by and I hadn't seen Tara anywhere, not at the clubhouse, not anywhere in town and not even at the hospital when I was having another check up. It was as if she had fallen off the face of the world, was I particularly worried? No, not really. I was just glad she was gone, because Jax and I no longer had someone interfering between us. It was nice, but that didn't mean that Jax and I were all good now. No. I still hadn't completely forgiven him over everything, not that anyone could blame me, not after all the cruel things he had said to me. He would be lucky if I ever forgave him for it, right now though, it was always sitting at the back of my thoughts, swirling back up to remind me every now and again.

Sitting in bed at Jax's, I stared ahead at the cupboard across from me. I hadn't been feeling the greatest today and to top it all off, I was dealing with an outbreak of anxiety. I didn't know how to deal with it either, so I just continued to sit there and not do anything to preoccupy myself.

"Ethel, sweetheart! You home?" I heard Gemma's voice coming from the front of the house.

"Y-Yeah Gem, just in bed." I answered, even when I spoke, my sounded on edge.

"I brought some things over, thought you might want to have a look through?" Gemma's voice sounded closer this time, seconds later, she had walked through the doorway of the bedroom, carrying a canvas bag that looked to be filled to the brim.

"What is it?" I turned my head in her direction, watching as she sat down on the edge of the bed, placing the bag between us.

"Go on, have a look." She gave me half a smirk, urging me to take a peak.

With furrowed eyebrows, I reached over to the bag and pulled out the first bit of material that was on top. Holding it upright and allowing it to open up, I noticed that it was in fact baby clothes. It was a cute little baby onesie, that had red stripes all over it.

"Gemma, where did you get these?" I asked with a slight smile. Seeing this had sure brightened my mood and made my insides warm up.

"That there sweety, is all of Jax's old baby outfits." She beamed at me. "Only ones I really kept and stored well. The rest were a little bit cockroach infested." She slightly chuckled, her eyes dropping to the bag between us.

"These were Jax's?" I asked in surprised, folding the onesie up and grabbing another from the bag.

"Sure were." She nodded.

"Wow!" I say in amazement, quickly going through the bag in excitement. "They are so cute!"

"You should've seen Jax when he was a baby, wearing all of these." Gemma stared down at the clothes I was going through, I could see she was thinking.

"I bet he was a charmer in this." I smirked, holding up a little devil suit, that was obviously for Halloween.

"Oh he was." She laughed, nodding her head. "Anyway, I thought you would appreciate looking through these. And you are more then welcome to keep as many as you want for my grand-baby." Her eyes darted to my stomach, which was covered in the blanket.

"I'd love that, Gem. Thank you." I dropped the devil outfit and leaned over to her, pulling her in for a quick hug.

"Very welcome." She kissed my forehead, letting me go as I sat back where I had been. "So what has been going on? Nobody has seen you for a few days, we are all beginning to worry." Gemma scrunched up her eyebrows.

"I've been right here." I answered, talking about the queen bed we were both on.

"In bed?" She cocked an eyebrow.

"Yeah." I nodded, quickly shoving the baby clothes back into the canvas bag.

Gemma gave me a deadpan look, I had no idea what to expect out of her. Whether she would continue to pick at it or just forget it.
