Roberts whistle woke me up to the thought that I never wanted anything more than for Robert to feel the pain we felt. 'How could a person be so sick?' I ask myself as I fix my hair and get changed. Ozzy walks back in the room with 3 glasses of milk. "I don't want it." I said, looking at the floor. "You have to get something in your body before we train." Ozzy replied as he handed Daisy her milk. She turned away and puked on the floor. "Oh my gosh Daisy!" I got up off the bed and held her hair back. "Are you okay?" Ozzy asked and kneeled next to us. She continued to gag and did not say a word when she was done. I decided to drink my milk because I was extremely hungry and I couldn't live another second without something in my system.
We washed Daisy's face, fixed her hair and clothes, and let her train with us. We took multiple breaks because for some reason today was different. We all felt sick, and depressed. It was unusual how we all felt the exact same way on the exact same day.
I've been looking at Daisy closer and closer each day and I noticed something. She's never changed. From the day I met her she's been the same. Shy, self-conscious, and just plain out sad. You'd think she'd get a little comfortable with us after we met her, but that just didn't happen. I finally brought myself to ask her what was wrong today. After we trained for a couple of hours I asked her if she was doing okay. "Hey, Daisy are you okay?" She looked confused and just stared at me. "Yeah... why?" She asked. I played with the grass. "I dunno, just asking." She giggled.
After dinner I talked to Ozzy about the Daisy thing. "I really think something is wrong." I said to Ozzy and he sighed. "Well we did just witness someone getting there throat slit open." He gulped and I turned away to hold back the tears. "It's not just about that." I explained how Daisy has been acting and he finally agreed with me. Usually when you meet someone they're shy at first, but not for 6 months. "Maybe we should invite her to sleep in our room tonight." I told Ozzy as I walked to the door. "Sounds good, but be quiet so you don't get caught." He lay back on the bed and I walked to her room. When I opened her door she was already asleep. 'That's weird. She usually stays up half the night.' I walked back to our room and told Ozzy that she was sleeping. "What time is it?" I asked. He looked at his watch. "7:00 pm." I sat on the bed. "I don't know why she's sleeping." I looked at Ozzy and he shrugged.
When I fell asleep I thought of Daisy and how much I cared for her. I hoped that she would get better and soon tell me what was going on.
