19 ~ Its Over

I woke up with a pounding head ache. 'What happened to Roberts whistle?.' I thought and picked up Leah. "Good morning." Ozzy walked in and smiled. "Here's her bottle." "Thank you." I looked up at him and we kissed. "I have to get changed, would you feed her?" I asked and he nodded. "I can't believe she's already one month." He said as he turned to me. "I know right, she's amazing." I finished putting my shorts on. "I'm gonna go ask Callie to take care of her so we can train." I said and walked out. I looked around and no one was lined up to go outside. 'Where is everyone?' I walked to Callie's room and fortunately she was there. "Hey do you mind taking care of Leah while we train?" I sat next to her on the bed. "Sure." She answered and walked over to her door. "Wait, where is everyone?" I asked as I followed her out the door. "I guess they're still sleeping." She responded and we stood outside of my room. "I'm gonna go get Daisy." I turned around and started to walk to her room. "Wait!" Callie shouted. "Come here. Let her get some rest." I slowly walked back with a confused look on my face. We walked in and sat on the bed. "How's Leah?" I asked as Ozzy put her in the crib. "She's fine." Ozzy sat down next to me with Callie on the other side of me. "Sadie," Callie continued. "We need to tell you something." My eyes grew big and I looked back and forth at them. "What!" I exclaimed. Ozzy grabbed my hands and looked in my eyes. "Daisy is....she's..dead." A tear fell from Ozzy's eye and Callie tried to hold them back. I let go of Ozzy's hands and looked to the ground. Callie rubbed my shoulder and wiped the tears from her face. I dropped to the floor and put my hands on my head. No tears would come out of my eyes. I thought it was because I was in such shock. Then out of no where a flood water fell from my covered eyes. 'This is a dream. This isn't real. This can't be happening.' Those thoughts ran through my mind as I lay there crying. I looked up at Callie and Ozzy. "What happened?" I sobbed. Ozzy rubbed his eyes and started to explain everything. "For about 2 months Me, Callie, and Daisy have been planning on escaping, but the only way we could do that is if Robert was dead. We decided to do it last night. While he was sleeping Daisy and I snook in his room with a knife while Callie stayed outside. I guess we were to loud because Robert woke up after we took 2 steps. He grabbed his gun and aimed it at Daisy but I squeezed his arm and bent it back so he could shoot the ceiling instead. While I was doing that Daisy ran up and stabbed him twice. Before I knew it she was on the ground panting. While Robert was holding his stomach I grabbed his phone and called the police. Callie and I stood next to Daisy until the police came. When they finally arrived they took Robert and the other contestants but we said we wanted to stay here." He started balling his eyes out along with Callie and I. "Where's Daisy's body?" I asked him. "The police confiscated it." I gulped and saw the 5 backpacks next to the door. "I wanna get out of here." They nodded and we each held our own back pack. Ozzy carried his and Leah's, I carried mine, and Callie carried her's and Daisy's. We walked out to flashing lights with cars surrounding us. "What's going on?" I looked around to see a camera with a news lady. "Hi, Sadie Durate?" A police officer approached me. "Yes." My voice cracked and he lead me to my crying mother. My mouth dropped and I cried even more. "Mom!" She hugged me and gave Leah a kiss. "I'm gonna stop. The drinking is over." She said. I gave her a sad smile and turned around to see Ozzy and Callie. I introduced them to my mom and she instantly loved Ozzy. I turned to him as we walked to the car. Tears fell from my eyes and his. Callie interrupted. "It's time, were finally leaving."
