I rocked up to school that morning practically glowing. After yesterday's incident in the hallway people had started to look at me differently but I wasn't yet sure whether it was a good or a bad thing. Damn right I made out with the hottest boy in Liberty High, damn right I had him pinned against those lockers. Unfortunately for me I had zero lessons with him that day and all of our free periods fell at different times. I presumed, we would just text throughout the day before we could finally talk to each other at lunch. My plan hadn't exactly worked out.

"I don't understand. He didn't even acknowledge me at lunch" I complained to Bianca and Sheri as we got changed for cheer practice after school. Monty had completely ignored me all day, despite the great lengths I had being go to contact him. I was little hurt but a whole lot more pissed.

"And he was ignoring your texts?" asked Bianca.

"Yeah" I hung my gym bag on the hook.

"Maybe his phone just died. I mean after that cute text that morning its clear he likes you" she reasoned.

"Hate to be the bearer of bad news but he texted me last lesson trying to get homework answers" said Sheri glumly. I just nodded at her.

"It's okay. It's not like I care or anything" I lied, starting to walk towards the gymnasium. Before I could take another step I was pretty much tackled to the floor as the two embraced me in a group hug.

"WE LOVE YOU Y/N!" They shouted.

"Bianca! Sheri! Get off me you weirdo's!" I laughed.

"Come on girly, we have cheer practice to get to" Bianca said throwing her arm around my shoulder as we strutted away, ready to rehearse for the baseball game that night. The baseball game - just what I needed.

Our coach arrived when we were halfway through stretching, ready to choreograph our routine for that night. She bounded over to us greeting us all with a fake smile.

"Right girls, has anybody seen Madeline Benitez?" We all shook our heads. As per usual the girl was late to practice, yet somehow the coach loved her. Everybody loved her but the three of us didn't buy it.

"Well we'll wait a little longer. We can't exactly start anything without the star flyer of the cheerleading team, now can we". Bianca rolled her eyes.

"Star flyer my ass" she mumbled "Madeline flips from the top of the pyramid and the whole thing goes on without her. We so much as move a muscle and the whole thing collapses" I elbowed her to shut her up but I couldn't help but grin. She was right. As the strongest girls me, Sheri and Bianca would form the base and hold the all other girls. All Madeline had to was jump off and look pretty yet she would get all of the attention. Typical.
