{chapter eleven}

Montgomery's P.O.V

"I'm feeling buzzed and it's all because! THIS IS HOW WE DO IT!" I was singing loudly as I approached the guys before first period, pumping my hands in the air and rapping my fists against Justin backpack. They looked at me gone out.

"Someone's in a good mood for a Thursday morning" said Bryce, smirking at me.

"Yeah well I wish he wouldn't be. Has anybody ever told you that you're horrific at singing Cruz" huffed Marcus.

"Oh is ickle wickle Marcus still mad about being kicked out of the group chat" I replied patronisingly "You're killing my vibes man"

"What's this all about anyway?" asked Justin, mimicking my growing smile.

"Guess who's moving right on up to round four!" I exclaimed, ruffling Justin's hair and grinning like a cheshire cat.

"No way bro!"

"How the fuck?"

"I don't believe you" The last comment didn't match the joking tone of all the rest. I turned to Bryce who was all of a sudden scowling at me.

"You what man?"

"I said I don't believe you? You haven't had the time or the balls to" I clenched my jaw, very quickly becoming irritated with him.

"I'm telling you Bryce I kissed her yesterday in the nurse's office while she was having her jabs." I started to square up to him, puffing out my chest and refusing to break eye contact.

"Not buying it Monty" he said, coping my body language.

"Whoa whoa whoa, guys calm down its not a big deal" said Justin jumping between us.

"Oh but it is" I said through gritted teeth.

"If it is so important why don't you prove yourself to us and settle this properly. Go kiss her in the hallway right now" The way Bryce's eyes twinkled with menace made me want to hit him "Or are you too chicken"

"Prepare to look like a jackass Bryce"

I stormed away from my group, running slightly down the hall to where Bianca and Sheri waiting at a block of lockers, and although Y/N wasn't there I knew she was never that far behind them. I turned on the charm from the get go, placing my hands on Bianca's shoulders from behind her.

"Guess who?" I shouted.

"Montgomery De la Cruz, just the person I wanted to avoid" she replied spinning around with an un-impressed look on her face.

"Ha ha very funny" I rushed "But seriously now, do you know where Y/N is?"

"Oh I see what this is about" said Sheri, rolling her eyes.

"Yes I know where Y/N is. No I'm not going to tell you" She winked at me in true Bianca style.

"Bianca" I said flatly.

"Fight me Cruz" I squinted my eyes causing her to laugh nervously "That was a joke. Don't hurt me, I want to live"

"Just tell me where she is".

As soon as I said it I saw her, standing by a water fountain a few feet away, with her books pressed against her chest. She was smiling sweetly at Tyler Down, the two of them midway through a conversation. A weird animalistic instinct took over and soon I was beside them, pushing Tyler to the side. I think he fell over.

"Mon! Was that really nec..."

I pinned her against the lockers, intertwining her fingers with mine and pushing her arms back so they were beside her head. Before she could object, I kissed her. I stared straight into her eyes, mine hungry with lust and want as I pressed my lips against hers, barely giving either of us time to breathe. The text books dropped to the floor. I had her right where I wanted her. The hallway erupted with with wolf whistles but we both ignored them, my hands going to her hair as I cradled her face. She tried to pull away slightly, but I pulled her back in, making her eyes to shoot open. She closed them again as I deepened the kiss, her biting my bottom lip slightly, causing me to let out a small groan. I felt her lips stretch into a smile under mine, as she let out a small giggle. Y/N was too cute for her own good. I snaked my hands around her waist and lowered them towards her ass. That's when she jerked away a final time, swatting my hand away and flipping me over so that I was flat against the locker instead.
