Liam

I'm tired, whole of my energy has been literally sucked out of me! My legs are starting to hurt now. We have officially run out of supplies. It's been two days since we've eaten anything. The burning sun is just adding to our distress.

"God! How much more do we gotta walk?" Niall groaned.

We left the lake and we're finding a new hide out. We can't stay at one place for long. The lab people will find us. I'm really tired of this running away.

It's getting difficult to carry Louis too. He fainted due to exertion."Liam, mate, come on. I'll hold him now. You are tired," Zayn said keeping his hand on my shoulder.

"No it's-"But I was cut off.

"Oh shut up Li! Just do what Zayn's sayin'" Niall groans irritated. I sigh and give Louis to Zayn.

"I'm hungry......" Niall whined a while later.

I looked at him with pittiful eyes. I pull him towards myself, my arm around his back."I know, Ni. Don't worry, as soon as we find a safe spot the first thing we'll do is find food for you and Lou, okay? Just a few more steps," I encouraged him.

The city is big, it is surrounded by houses, buildings and malls. Not even a single area is uncovered.

"Liam we gotta take a break man! We can't fo this!" Zayn complained He is carrying Louis. We are taking turns picking him up, not Niall of course, he's too weak.

"Yeah....ya see that park? We'll rest there," I said.

"Yeah okay," Zayn said, heading that way. It looked big and shaded, which was exactly what we needed.

"Aahh..." I hear a thud behind me. I turn and see Niall on the ground. Oh shit!

"Niall!" I exclaim, turning and helping him up. His face was extremely pale and I could see in his eyes how tired he was.

"I-I'm f...fine! It's okay! Tripped!" He panted out and just as he took another step, he fell flat on the ground. 

"Niall! " I picked him up and put him on my back. "There is no way he can walk anymore."

"Yes I can. I just need to-" Niall started.

"Niall.....bub you can't walk. Let Liam help," Zayn said, rubbing his shoulders and making him drink some water.

We walked towards the park, all dead tired. We lay Niall and Louis down."Now what?" Zayn asked.

"To be honest.....I don't know" I said looking down.

"All things aside....we need food. These two won't be able to survive, Liam. We have to do something....." Zayn said while staring at Louis.

As I was thinking of a plan I noticed a woman approaching. Zayn noticed her too but just say next to the others, trying to make it look casual. I wanted to freeze but I knew that we couldn't because it would look weird.

"Yes..?" Zayn asked hesitently, turning his body to face her more.

She gave a shy smile. "I overheard your situation, and I would be more than happy to house you guys for a bit."

Zayn looked relieved, but I didn't trust it. "We're okay," I lied. Zayn gave me a crazy look and tried to reason with me by talking with his eyes.

"I'm sorry," she said, "but you kids don't look fine. You all look tired and hungry. Just for a day or two."

I felt one of the two start to stir, and I knew that it would be easy for them to agree.

"If you don't mind," Zayn said quickly. "We wouldn't want to intrude or anything."
