Louis
*three weeks later*

I understood why Liam always stayed awake. Being woken up from one nightmare into another is unbearable. Half the time I'm not even sure when I'm awake or asleep. It all just merges together.

I stared at the white room. My thoughts bounced around nothing. Liam, Zayn, Niall and Harry would enter my thoughts. I pushed them away, not wanting to give too much away, but today, Zayn was the only thing on my mind.

God, I missed him. I miss the others too, but Zayn was different. Like how Liam and Niall are different. I shoved the thought away just as quick as it came. I wanted Zayn. I wanted him to comfort me, to tell me what was real and what wasn't.

I heard a clank that drew my eyes to the metal door. I thought Styles would have walked in, but Harry did instead. I stood up quickly, not sure who's side he was on at this point. The lab, they would get some details wrong and others right, seemingly from the same day.

"Louis-"

"What's going on?" I asked, not giving him a chance first.

Harry looked around, up at the camera that was positioned in the room, the red blinking light watching us. He turned back to me, a sigh escaping his lips. "You need to come with me."

His voice was emotionless, but his face showed pain. Showed that he would rather do anything but this.

So why was he? Harry had choices. Why was he choosing this?

"We trusted you," I snapped. "They trusted you."

"Come with me now," Harry said in his flat voice. The emotion on his face was slowly slipping away.

I knew there was no way to win and complied, walking to Harry. He grabbed the top of my arm harshly, pulling me down the hall.

"What the fuck, Harry?" I asked. I tried to pull my arm, but he held firm.

Shut up and walk.

I snapped my head at him to make a comment but his glare stopped me.

"Someone's gotten feisty," he mumbled under his breath. I let it go, but not without a sigh.

Harry counted cameras as we passed them, turning sharply after the third.

His grip loosened on my arm, slipping down to my wrist as he started running, pulling me along. "Harry, what the hell?"

"Don't, just, come on." Harry ushered. I tried to drag my feet, but I would end up stumbling. "Louis, seriously. I'm getting you out!" Harry snapped at me once I had tripped for the tenth time.

I finally stopped, Harry letting go of my wrist as I took a few steps back. "This isn't right. This is not right. You're- You wouldn't..." I trialed off, looking back the way he had come. The way that was the smartest way to go.

"Louis, he's in your head. This hall has no cameras. We can leave. Zayn's waiting-"

"Zayn's here?" I asked. "How long?"

Harry looked like he wanted to go back and fix what he said. "The same day as you," he answered.

I looked down at the ground. "I don't even know what to believe anymore." Everyone kept saying only I was here, now Zayn and Harry are too?

"Louis, stop thinking and come on. If we don't do this now, my dad will never let me near you again." Harry tried pulling on my wrist but it wouldn't work.

"How do I know this isn't a test? Or something your dad put you up to?"

"Louis I swear, come on!" Harry growled before grabbing my wrist and pulling me again. "We cannot get caught. I don't know what they'd do to me, but- I don't even want to think about the consequences for you."

I had thought that as soon as I had seem Liam, Harry, Zayn or Niall, I would have jumped on them, trusted them.

But after being on here, its made me not want to trust anyone in the slightest. I was going on a limb here, trying to trust Harry.

We ran past some kind of alarm and a few feet ahead was another. I opened the one we were running up to and once I ran past it I hit it, Harry letting go of my wrist as he heard them start to go off.

When he let go I ran the way we had been coming from, hearing Harry yell after me. "What did you do, Louis?!"

Something's wrong. Something is so wrong. I wouldn't do that.

I got into the main corridor and saw Harry's dad ahead, calling out orders. He saw me and relief, followed by anger flashed on his face. I walked over to him, not knowing how to explain it.

Why did I hit the alarm?

Harry's dad gave me an approving look and put his hand on my shoulder, but I didn't pull away from it like I normally would. Something stopped me from reacting like I wanted to.

"You didn't see Zayn, did you? He wasn't in his room."

"Harry said he had him," I blurted out before I could stop myself. I closed my eyes and took a deep breath. I didn't want to tell him what was going on, but I wasn't on control of myself. "Harry tried helping us escape."

The look of anger returned. "I was afraid of that. You did well, Louis."

I didn't say anything, instead looking at the ground. He instructed for some guards to take me back to my room.

I followed a set of them numbly, not totally aware of everything. It was almost was like I wasn't in total control and only seeing what they wanted me to see.

I walked to my bed and paused, staring at it. "Get some rest, Louis."

It didn't seem like a suggestion, but a command. Before I was aware of it, I was on my bed, my eyes feeling too heavy to keep open.
