Hello everybody! Sorry for the long wait. And welcome to Rise of the Demigods: Supernatural Demigods book 2! For those of you who have not read the first book, GO DO IT NOW! YOU WILL BE CONFUSED ON WHAT IS GOING ON!

But to those who are still with me, thank you for reading this! And again, I apologize for making you all wait for so long, but hopefully it'll be worth it in the end. I actually have the chapters already written on here and saved as drafts, but I decided that I made you guys wait long enough. I'm not going to post every chapter all in one day, cause I'm still currently writing this book, but I will try to stick to my schedule on uploading one chapter daily?? Weekly? Idk, but just a fair warning: this story might confuse you maybe around chapter twenty, but I was blasted with [insert spoilers here] and I may or may not fix them. Who knows, maybe I'll keep them.

And one more thing: This story does contain cursing, but I feel like it's nothing you should worry about, just wanted to let you guys know. And for those of you who haven't watched Supernatural or haven't caught up with it, then there's going to be spoilers from S11. I don't want to say might, because then it could go downhill from there.

Anyways, ON WITH THE STORY (I don't know if it's just me, but sorry if the rest of the paragraphs on this A/N is a different font then the first one, it's not my fault)!

"No, Sam," Dean said as he drove him and his brother down the backway.

"Why not?" Sam pressed. He just didn't understand why his brother was being such a pain in the ass. It was only a ghost problem in Pennsylvania. Easy enough.

"Because I said so, that's why," Dean snapped.

Sam huffed. "Dean, I'm fine."

"Like hell you are," his brother muttered. "We're not going and that's final."

Sam clenched his jaw and looked out his window. He knew his brother was just protecting him ever since the little showdown with Death and then the whole hospital case went down, but dammit, he just wanted things to go back to the way they used to be. Just two brothers, going across the States and hunting down the things that go bump in the night. "What are you, my mother?"

"Yes," Dean harshly replied. Sam looked over at him and raised his eyebrows.

Dean's eyebrows scrunched together in concentration. "No," he reprimanded after a moment, then proceeded to slam his hand on the steering wheel, making Sam jump. "Dammit, Sam. No!"

The two brothers fell quiet after that outburst. The silence was thick enough that Sam could slice through it with Death's scythe. After a few tense moments, Dean finally sighed.

"No, Sam," he quietly said. "Just no."

"How come?" Sam asked just as quietly, not wanting to push his big brother's buttons any further than he already had.

Dean bit his lip. "I'm just...I'm worried about you, okay?" He confessed. "With the little stunt with Death and then the Darkness popping up and the hospital, I just want to make sure that you're okay."

"Dean, I'm fine," Sam replied. "I'm not the one who just had the Mark of Cain  taken off him."

Dean rolled his eyes at that. "Yeah, but I'm not the one who had to fight off a bunch of those black-veined sons of bitches for an entire day. Really, dude, that must've been exhausting."

Sam scoffed. His brother wasn't wrong. After Dean had left with Jenna and the baby, Sam had stayed behind to search for answers. But after an hour by himself, he got infected, leaving him no choice but to find a cure. He still hadn't told Dean about that detail, yet. It wasn't like he didn't want to, it was more of that he couldn't think of a way to bring it up. It's not like they had that much free time in their lives.
