"What the hell does that mean?" Dean demanded.

Percy sighed. Sam could tell that the demigod was reluctant to share his dreams with the brothers, but they needed to know.

"I mean," Percy stated. "That when I first met them, they told me what was going on."

"Wait, hold on." Sam raised a hand, signaling Percy to pause. "You still see them? And you didn't bother to mention this to us?"

Percy had the sense to look guilty. "I didn't want to worry either of you, so I thought that I could keep this to myself. And look how well that went," the demigod added bitterly.

Sam felt bad when he saw Percy gaze sadly up at him. It made him feel like he had left a helpless baby seal to fend for itself in the wilderness.

"Percy." Sam sighed. "It's not your fault. We understand why you hid something this huge for a reason. I mean, Dean and I do it all the time."

"Basically every year," Dean mumbled under his breath.

Sam shot his brother a look before returning his gaze back to the demigod. Percy looked like everything had been taken from him and Sam could relate to the young teen.

"But why would Tartarus send you to the Cage?" Sam refused to shudder at the name. It's been almost five years since he's been released from the Cage, yet he still has nightmares from his time down under. "What does he get from sending you down there with them?"

Percy shrugged helplessly before yawning. "Beats me."

"Alright," Dean concluded. "Why don't we get some shut eye and finish this later?" Apparently, Sam wasn't the only one who noticed the sleepy teen.

"What?" Said teen questioned. "Why? This is kind of important, don't you think?"

"For starters," Dean answered. "It's been a long day, despite the fact that it's only," he checked his watch, "eleven o' clock. Secondly, you can barely keep your eyes open. You're tired. And not to mention the fact that you were almost mauled to death by those bitches earlier, which can't be good for your health."

"Yeah, okay," Percy reluctantly agreed, yet he still sounded unconvinced. Dean must've picked up on it because he tossed the demigod some pills, from where Sam had no idea. "Take them. Might help you sleep for a few hours, anyway."

Percy eyed the pills warily before slowly popping the cap off and dumping two of the small medicine into his palm. Sam was going to ask if he wanted something to swallow them down with, but the teen swallowed the pills dry.

The demigod laid down on his bed and shut his eyes. Neither Sam or Dean moved from their spots until they were certain that Percy was well and truly asleep.

Once Percy's breathing evened out, the brothers quietly removed themselves out of the room and into the hallway, Dean closing the door softly behind him. Silently, Sam and Dean went over to the library and sat down, each thinking over about what had transpired in the past half hour.

"Dean..." Sam quietly began. "If Percy met Michael and Lucifer, then he probably know about-"

"I know," Dean interrupted, his voice just as quiet. He got up and went over to the minibar, grabbing two beers and handing one to Sam. "We just need to figure out why," Dean continued. "I mean, what's the point in sending Percy to the Cage? To torture him? To get revenge?"

Sam was listening, he really was, but the information was refusing to stick to his brain. All the words Dean spoke were just flowing out his other ear without his saying so. All Sam could really focus on was Lucifer. Freaking Michael and Lucifer? Seriously?
