This will probably be the last time you guys get a little A/N from me, but I want to make one thing clear: I put Nico's full name on here but I "misspelled" it. You'll see why soon, just wanted to tell you guys so you won't ask me, "You know it's Angelo, right?" I'm very aware of how to spell Nico's name. Okay, that's it. Read on!

"Guys, I can take care of myself," Percy protested the next day, during breakfast in the kitchen. I've fought in two wars. I'm pretty sure I can handle it."

After last night's fiasco, Sam decided to figure out who had brought Percy back. But all the brothers got out of the demigod was that it was a demon wearing a kid named Nico di Angle-or something like that's suit. After that, Dean had called Sam an idiot because, "The kid barely told us anything about what had happened."

It wasn't until Percy had told them about the Guardians and the battle that they fought with the Boogeyman, which Dean still can't wrap his head around that thought, when the demigod finally told Sam and Dean about what his friends had done and the demon bringing Percy back to life. Thanks to that info, the brothers were finally on to something now.

But then came the problem with Percy.

Now, Dean knew that the demigod wasn't such a bad kid, it was just the situation he was put in that made him out to be a troubled kid. Yet so far, Percy hadn't done anything too severe to make him labeled as one, though.

Well, there was that little skirmish with the hellhound, Dean thought, leaning back from the table. But he would hardly call the kid troubled from that one experience.

Either way, both Sam and Dean agreed to keep an eye on the kid since, thanks to Jason, there was something after the demigod. So, they planned on switching roles of babysitting the prince of the fishies every so often, as to not draw Percy's attention on what their plan was.

The only problem besides Percy was, that, they needed a plan. But even that backfired when the demigod himself stepped into the kitchen the next morning and heard what Sam and Dean were up to.

"We never said that you couldn't, Percy," Sam replied. "It's just-"

"You're worried something might happen to me?" Percy interrupted, sounding surprisingly defeated.

Damn.

Dean had seriously underestimated how smart the kid was, right then and there.

"Guys, I'm fine." Percy sighed. "Really. I don't need a babysitter."

"Don't think of it as babysitting," Dean jumped in. "More like...keeping an eye on your every move so you don't do anything stupid."

He grinned as the young demigod rolled his eyes. "So," Percy commented. "Basically, you're babysitting me."

Dean shrugged. "If that's what you want to call it."

"It's bad enough my friends do it to me, now you guys?" Percy grumbled. "I've barely done anything since I've hung out with you guys."

"We just want to make sure that nothing...unexpected happened when you're by yourself," Sam continued, ignoring Dean as per usual.

The younger brother stood up and made his way over to the sink to wash his plate and place it in the dishwasher before facing back to the two boys that remained sitting at the table. "I need to get some supplies for the ritual, we're almost out of the normal stuff."

"Ritual?" Percy scrunched his eyebrows together in confusion. "Why are you doing a ritual?"

"So that we can summon the bastard that killed you," Dean answered, also getting up from his seat and placing his platter in the sink as well and mimicked Sam's stance, leaning against the counter, facing Percy.
