Chapter 7/ Plans

(Jieun's POV)

"But before your wedding, you are going to have an engagement party and it's going to be next week!" Mum said excitedly. My brains just won't stop thinking about stuff. "Jieun, I have a present for you" my 'future-mother-in-law said, so I followed her to her room and she took out a large sized box out of her wardrobe and handed it to me. "Here is your first engagement present from me" She said. "Thank you" I opened up the box, it was a beautiful red dress with a few jewels and a detailed design.

"Wow... it's beautiful, thank you so much!" I thanked her. "no... thank you, for being my daugter in law, from now on, if you wish, call me mum" she smiled. "mum"I hugged her, she was warm just like my mum.

We went back outside and everyone else was sitting in the living room. I sat down next to Hongki and my mum started talking. "Now, let's plan!" mum said. "Where do you guys want your engagement to be?" she asked. She took a mini photo book out of hand bag and gave it to us, here are some places I think you guys would like. I looked at some pictures, there were beaches, english lunch parties etc. Our final choice was a beach party.

*At school*

"I think its time to tell them" I said to Hongki, he nodded. We walked up to Suzy and Yuri together and took a deep breath. "We have something to tell you guys" Hongki started. They both gave us attention. "well... we're going to get engaged..." they looked at us shocked. At first Yuri thought it was a joke but then we told them everything. Suzy looked a bit disappointed at first but then she's cool with it. I grabbed 4 invitations out of my bag and handed 2 of it to them. Ends up both of them can come, there's still one person I want to come, if I can find him. Hongki went to find Jiyoung and I went to find... Kyuhyun. Damn, I shouldn't think about him, I'm getting married soon! As I was thinking about all these stuff, I bumped into a person, I looked up and realised he was the person I was looking for. "O-oh! Kyuhyun oppa! I was looking for you!"

"You were looking for me? I thought you forgot about me!" We sat down at a bench and I started talking. "I'm getting married soon" I told him, he looked at me for a second and and smirked. "You? Get married? Come-on! Don't joke around, how can YOU get married." He laughed as evil as ever. "B-but I'm not joking..." He looked at me a finally realised I was serious. I handed him an invitation. "Lee Hongki..." He read out the groom's name. "Why does it sound familiar?" He said as he looked up at the sky to think, like he usually does.
